WTF are you talking about? I have been on here defending Haye since the fight. However, you losers are the reason why he is going to keep getting **** on rather than just manning up and dealing with the fact that he got dominated. Haye has already come to grips with it... it's time that you did it as well. Pretending like Wlad was hurt just because Haye landed and Wlad halted his attack with a clinch isn't getting anywhere with me. If you are relying on commentators to tell you when someone is hurt then you already ****ed up. They are so quick to scream out Wlad is stunned or hurt everytime that he gets hit, that it's honestly laughable. Lampley even had to correct himself earlier in the fight for jumping and saying it prematurely when Wlad clearly wasn't. It all comes from the bull**** myth that Wlad has a glass jaw, so everyone is looking for him to be so devastated every time that someone lands flush. It's honestly ******ed.
What did Lampley etc say about the 12th round? Haye runs in and throws punches like a wild man. You are meant to hold at that point .
That's funny because the entire exchange from Haye's punches landing and Haye going to the floor was under 10 seconds. What grade did you reach in school? Did you see afterward as well... how hurt Wlad clearly was when they resumed fighting?:-(
Some really good posts. Having watched the fight again its clear how much difference a few stone in weight and a few inches in height can make in a fight. And to all those thinking the fight was underwhelming and a massive dissapointment, ive got to say i disagree. It was quite indulging viewing. Hayes defensive movement was nothing short of superb 90% of the time and he was making Wlad miss like id never seen before. But the issue of chins really got answered for me. Both men took full shots on 2 or 3 occasions and stood like many thought they wouldnt. Wlads jab was landing but with much less regularity than usual but he impressed me with his front foot agression. It seemed like he was finding it very difficult to get off his right hand but he was looking for it relentlessly. The rounds were tight but Hayes lack of output was the glaring difference that lost him the fight. I had it 117-110 Wlad, in what was really a perfect performance from the Champion who desrves all the plaudits. I think on most occasions the result of a rematch would be very similar, though i do believe Haye is more likely to do better than Wlad compared to Saturday night solely because Wlad would fight exactly the same (and why wouldnt he?). Therefore Haye has the opportunity to at least try a different approach whereas Wlad really cant do much more. But in review of Hayes performance, i think its being outrageously crucified not only by the simple folk of ESB but by the media the world over. You would think he was demolished according to some so called experts whereas the truth is he was outworked for 9 rounds of a competitive fight.
Because its David Haye. Heavy is a Klit fan as well and doesn't seem to have a problem seeing what a lot of other people see. You just reply with insults.
Neither of these guys were really hurt over the course of the fight. That is the way Haye fought it and that is the way that WK mostly let him fight it. Yes it was a defensive, tactical fight, but David [1] was never, never, never in control [2] got dominated and [3] occasionally embarrassed himself lunged and flopped like an amateur.
First they said that Wlad was hurt. Then, when it was apparent that he wasn't by the way he aggressively went back to work and bouncing on his toes... which Wlad NEVER does when hurt. They tried to wash it over by saying that Wlad was angry because David stunned him and wanted to make him pay. FFS, they should have just said... oh.. well.. it appears as if we jumped the gun again and Wlad isn't hurt. We have all seen Wlad hurt before. There is no mistaking it... and he clearly doesn't respond immediately the way that he did against Haye. He recuperation powers would have to be ****in amazing to go from being hurt to alert, aggressive, and boxing at his best within 10 seconds, in the 12th round no less.
I clearly backed up my opinion with facts, video evidence and resorting to Wlad's history to prove my point. You guys just choose to ignore it. Because you don't like dealing with reality.
It's because of Haye's mouth. The funny thing is , in an interview the other day Haye said lots of people wanted him to get beat are probably enjoying that right now. He understands why and accepts it. The knife is being stuck in because he was being an ******* and a braggart for years. If Adamek gets his butt kicked. No one will bash, all that will matter is he tried.
I was ringside and haven't watched the broadcast yet cause i've just got back from Germany. Everybody in the stadium knew Wlad had won. This isn't about Haye being dominated and im not so attached to any 1 fighter that i would even consider acting like that. You just seem to have a sore spot for this particular incident. God knows why
Trying to hold onto something that isn't there I predicted Klitschko to KO Haye in 9 which makes your point void, i was disapointed with both guys, Haye for not upping his workrate but Wlad because of the stupid clinching. Its clear as ****ing daylight that your highly biased and judging by the way you lashed out previously you struggle to deal with criticism towards your favourate fighter. Anyone with a brain can acknowledge that Klitschko won and would have won without the clinching as well. Im criticising Klitschko as a whole after taking a step back and thinking not just because im a fan of Haye.:smoke
He had a good deal of time to recover from the punch before he went back to work, not one person has claimed Wlad was on ***** street because he clearly wasnt but the punch hurrt him and caused him to hold on and then bundle Haye to the floor.
If you think that Wlad clinched excessively in that fight... then you are even less educated about the sport than I already thought. One thing that was NOT a problem in that fight was clinching. Haye flopping to the canvas over and over again every time that Wlad touched him while running in was a bit of a problem. Wlad did lean on him a few times... yes... just like the man in your avatar ALWAYS did. That's what big men do.
