No, be fair. For those who weren't really sold on Kovalev the display against Hopkins changed a lot of minds - probably more than if Kovalev had just KOd BHops. There was (and still is) a legitimate possibility of Stevenson landing a fight changing LH, it's just that even those who felt the fight to be kinda 50 / 50 now understand that Kovalev is the superior boxer, on top of being at least as big a puncher.
