Mayweather - hatton. Although always loved in britain i think his behavior after the fight warmed a few hearts in the us. Not too proud to admit floyd was different league.

I went through this whole thread waiting for someone to say that, and I was starting to think I was going to have to. George beat the hell outta Froch, to see so many prospects lately (Broner, Canelo) reach and fall... it was nice to see one actually do really good.

Ill add, the crowd booed Groves on the way in... and cheered for him after the fight... so apparently it changes A LOT of peoples minds.

Vitali - Lewis - perfect example, as for me. He turned respect of the audience to his side, though before the fight he didn't have a lot of support there in NY

Holyfield - Valuev.. 46 year old Evander had enough stamina to go full distance and to outpoint Russian giant (I trully believe Holyfield won that fight)

    Bradley - Provodnikov

    Povetkin - Huck

    Magomed Abdusalamov - Mike Perez

duran after leonard II. few could come back decent from that, much less accomplish what duran did afterwards, becoming the junior middleweight and middleweight champion. most boxers today don't seem even half as tenacious as he was.
