This is a Filipino's view on drug testing,I couldnt help but notice this debate on twitter yesterday involving Mosley's girl,a Philipino and some American dude crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee Okay, how did Mosley get caught up doping before? On urine-testing by the NSAC. Meaning, NSAC's testing is enough and it gets 16 hours ago crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee results. How 'bout Marion Jones and all those Tour de France bikers? What caught them? Urine testing! Meaning - urine testing 16 hours ago crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee is enough! Research more on NSAC's testing! You obviously don't know about it! Pac on the other hand, has always been clean 16 hours ago crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee You should have a match up with him. Your mouth is too big! 16 hours ago crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee Maybe, you should be the one to try it on the ring with Pac. Let's see, if you could even do better than Mosley! 16 hours ago crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee He didn't refuse the blood testing (it was the terms) - He said 14 days before and right after the match. What's the difference? 17 hours ago crabzkiller Joeiey @ @SidneyGee He didn't lie! He tasted it at the 3rd round. I was there in front - I could literally, see the fear in his eyes. 17 hours ago ยป crabzkiller Joeiey @ @ChipMunky19 @Bella1Mafia Pac's response? He said, "Don't think Mosley could do that, he's too educated. Well, apparently not! 17 hours ago Favorite Retweet Reply crabzkiller Joeiey @ @ChipMunky19 @Bella1Mafia Ooo, Mosley could be in trouble for this - that's slander and defamation (no concrete evidence). 17 hours ago
This is what Philipinos believe.Someone's been telling them that urine tests are enough because Mosley was caught using urine tests,Marion was caught urine tests. The reality however is that Mosley was never caught because the NSAC uses urine tests.Marion was never caught either.SO basically these guys are believing lies.
marion did USADA testing and only got caught when they discovered her name on the black book. but who gives a ****? why is grape drank jr afraid to fight a midget on steroids? everyone else is dying to fight the midget on steroid but grape is tyring to get rid of the threat and jsut fight a shell of the fighter.
What do you really know about Filipinos when you can't even get the spelling right? Does one "Philipino" represent all of them?
Wrong. Marion Jones had a urine sample test positive for EPO. Her blood tests never showed any signs of illegal PEDs. Also, at the time Mosley was using and passing urine tests, there were no tests in existence for the cream and the clear. He would've passed blood tests as well.
What people need to understand is that they don't use blood testing in the Olympics because it is more effective, they use it because they are testing hundreds upon hundreds of athletes and blood testing is considerably cheaper. Every PED that can be detected in blood can also be detected in urine; contrarily, not every PED that can be detected in urine can be detected in blood (e.g. EPO). The only scientific advantage that blood testing holds over urine testing is that the blood samples can be stored much longer for retroactive testing for newly discovered PEDs. But obviously a post-fight blood test would cover this. The OSDT request by the Mayweathers is nothing more than a smear campaign.
Oh really? http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/18/AR2006081800926.html M. Jones Failed Drug Test in June Sprinter Tested Positive for EPO; Confirmation Would Result in 2-Year Ban This content is protected By Amy Shipley Washington Post Staff Writer Saturday, August 19, 2006 U.S. sprinter Marion Jones, a five-time Olympic medalist, failed a drug test at the U.S. national championships in Indianapolis in June, according to sources with knowledge of the test results. The substance for which Jones tested positive is erythropoietin (EPO), an endurance-boosting drug, the sources said. The results of the test have not been made public because the testing on Jones's urine sample has not been completed, sources said. Only after the second half of her sample -- the backup sample -- is tested, would Jones be charged with a doping violation. If EPO is found in the B sample as well, she would face a two-year ban from track and field. Need more? Consequently, it was her test at the US National Championships and not the Olympics that turned up positive, meaning she was able to pass OSDT with no problems.
