    :think

Anytime Hatton steps up he loses. So that would make him not that good at all.

Armstrong my ass...He didnt ask fighters to cut weight. He defended his titles ALL OF THEM....While he didnt always fight welterweight when defending his welterweight title, he did fight fighters at the limit. So when Pac has the Balls to fight a welterweight at welterweight, then drops back down to lightweight and defends that title then you can begin to mention his name with Armstrong...Until then Please STFU:hi:

i couldn't read your post after the title said cotto is "essentially unbeaten". as a big cotto fan i am telling you, he got beaten by margarito. he came in with the wrong game plan and got beat the **** up. whether or not he had plaster under those gloves makes absolutely no difference, the result would have been the same. in my eyes he seems to have learned from the defeat and hopefully it won't happen again.

Oh man, got you wrong in the first post, I thought you meant the referee should have stopped it. :patsch

Yeah you're right with that one, Hatton was out of it in the 12th and if Collazo had more time he would have definitely finished him as he was seriously groggy but still managed to recover. Sometimes when you know in the ring that it's the final round you push things to the limit, if this happened in the 11th I wouldn't be surprised if Collazo did knock him out.

Yes he is great Jr. Welter, there's no denying that. The man has been the lineal champion there since 2005.

Yeah but Collazo was a decent test, that's all I'm saying. Not saying he's an ATG test just a solid opponent and definitely not low class, the guy has skills. I would rate him as a gatekeeper alongside Clottey. Fighters that would give you a serious test as you step up but have their limitations.

When someone says "I don't rate a specific fighter" then that's ignorance in my opinion. The man is a fighter like everyone else, how can anyone completely ignore the man's existence in the division and sport?

He's a champion in the division, not just undefeated and I wouldn't rate him with Arreola to be honest. Berto comes in top shape for all fights.

Might want to give credit to Collazo for making him look bad. You seem to blame Hatton and Berto for looking bad like Collazo did nothing in the ring.

The only thing that relates him with Valuev is an arguably gift decision against Collazo. Valuev' entire title reign and existence in the sport is based on robberies.

But in terms of "champion" I do agree both him and Valuev fall in the same category.

Not sure if we can judge him like that too quick, when he steps up against a serious opponent we should know good he is. That's when a fighter goes through a major training camp. Got to see how he does before completely writing him off though I can see why you say that and can't argue with it.

When someone says "I don't rate a specific fighter" that means you're completely writing him off as he doesn't exist, that sounds like "worthless" to me.

    Just discussing, nothing personal.

Sad thing about the forums is that when people praise one fighter, they often can't resist shitting on another fighter and pretty soon the thread just becomes yet another debate between fans of the fighter being praised and the fighter being shitted on.

I'm all for debate but it just reaches a point where you've heard all arguments and counter arguments.

Anyway, great achievement for Pac indeed!!

Whoa, whoa! Don't suck so hard. It starts to hurt after a while. Get your forehead off of Mannys abs dude. Take a breath atleast. Your hate for Floyd has pretty much made you intimate with Pacquiao. Both are great fighters. Get over it. I tell you one thing Pac hasn't done. Win 39 pro fights in a row.
