Am I the only one who notices the empty arena? I know its standard for boxing cards for the crowd to file in before the main event...
I am SUPER excited for the main event and rightfully so.. I'm not complaining about the cost.. well worth it for that fight. But Boxing PPV make for a boring ass party leading up to the main event...
UFC cards are exciting for all 3 hours or so... everyone is getting restless already around here...

    Anyone else share this sentiment?

people don't care about the prelims so much; they are in the casinos and clubs getting liquored up.
    They will flow in.

Im not commenting on how the crowd will be by the main event time... im commenting on he fact that during a UFC PPV the crowd is in the arena by at least the time the show goes live.
I love both sports.. boxing has got to figure this out..
my main comment was that the people here waiting to see the main event who arent pure boxing fans are bored out of their minds right now... whereas when we have a UFC party its exciting and entertaining for the entire show...
    thats all.

Well take yo ass to a ufc fight. Either you just started watching boxing or you just want something to ***** about. Anybody who watches boxing knows that the undercard is never full so what's your damn point?

Thats why UFC wil never overtake boxing...boxing can attract an audience with 1 bout. UFC needs a whole card.

People like the violence, in UFC it is much more likely to see someone knocked out or be seriously hurt, boxing undercards aren't as good since it's usually a lot of inexperienced pros

UFC cards are great, because they keep you watching for the entire event. Boxing will never follow this model though as long as they keep being able to profit off of one fight.

I heard that the tickets are very expensive, cheaps $150.

Look Stop this UFC ****, boxers get paided money, UFC don't, they get paided very **** money and this is why they can put cards on with all there stars, boxing is global MMA is not, just one big company and they control everything

Boxing is different. Most people don't pay attention to the undercards. It was the same with the DLH v Mayweather fight. People pay to see the superstars. Only us 'true' boxing fans watch the up and comers.

The undercard was awesome. I thought Lock should have won though.
