Hey guys, I found this video of Floyd Vs Canelo on YouTube. It is an amazing overhead view of about 95 percent of the fight recorded by someone in attendance. It is a very instructive video to watch because it's almost as if your close to the ring so you et a better idea of how Mayweather moves. For those of you who regularly attend fights, you know fights in person look way different than they do on tv and you can get a better idea of what a fighter is all about by watching them in person. This video gives a pretty good idea of what Mayweather looks like live. Enjoy.

From an orthodox stance, there's just nothing to hit there.

He controls the range perfectly so his opponent will have to step in to close the gap, giving him more time to react. He makes himself a smaller target by having a side pose as oppose to an square foot one, this also makes his head further away on top of being behind his shoulder. His left arm covers his body and right hand covering his right cheek, thus there is no target.

A right hand will be nullified by that shoulder, and should that fail he can lean back or dip, the left hook is nullified by his right hand to his cheek, body shots will hit his elbows. The only thing that can get through is a jab, but seeing as he controls distance so well and his stance keeps his head as far away as possible, it rarely reaches.

From an orthodox stance the only way to beat that using boxing is be Tommy Hearns, much taller, as fast and he wont be able to use range very well. You are also hitting to the top of the head thus the shoulder cant protect that, whereas if your punching up, you just land on shoulder first.

The other way to is to make it a phone booth fight, similar to what Hatton did. Problem with this is, Floyd is also very good on the inside and if you're the aggressor, you are expending much more energy than Floyd, thus you tire out much quicker, hence what happened to Hatton. There is also the issue of getting in.

He's only weakness is the southpaw style if you can even call it that. Against southpaws, the stance doesn't work so well given the punches come from the different directions, hence why he squares up more and puts both hands up vs southpaws.

The guy is as complete fighter as I've ever seen, more complete than SRL, or SRR.

I don't think he was saying he has a weakness against southpaws it's just his particular style is slightly less effective against southpaws because of the change in angles.

Brighton bomber, what im say in is this these so called difficulties have been overcome
right. or are my eyes deceiving me! No man in the history of boxing, has been judged like floyd. In the medias anxiety to see him beat, he must face guys above his weight class! but , not anybody else. Did marvin hagler fight, michael spinks for instance?

wow, watching this video is much different than tv,, this looks like a sparring session,,,, canelo never hit mayweather, and u actually SEE why its so hard to hit mayweather,,

that was a sparring session,,, canelo gave up after the 3rd round cause he couldn't hit him,,

TALK **** ALL U WANT BOUT RICKY HATTON, BUT HE IS THE ONLY RECENT FIGHTER WHO BROUGHT EVERYTHING HE HAD TO MAYWEATHER.
