Because he didn't fight anyone outside of Jennings who is < Coetzee. Ortiz is no different, stepped up and lost, but Bruno is a bigger hitter with a better jab and isn't a low output counter puncher like Ortiz

They had more boxing ability than him. His lack of fundamentals gets him eaten alive then. We've seen that his power evaporates when he'sn being backed up.

I'm done talking to you here when you're so utterly clueless as to make the argument Bruno couldn't crack today's top 10. This is an embarrassing chat to be having and all done in service of an exposed Wilder.

You mean opportunities like fighting Joshua to become a 3 belt champion?... Yeah Ortiz had a golden opportunity but went the safer rout and fought the Alabama bum for a lot less money, Ortiz was never that good, face it every time Wilder stepped up it ended badly for him.

I dont agree. I think Wilder is better than Lyle or Shavers were. They too got into boxing late I might add.

Actually Ortiz got quite a few opportunities, he/his team just turned them down.

WBC ordered a eliminator fight between Whyte and Ortiz. A lot of crap went behind on behind the scenes with this one but eventually Whyte´s team offered Ortiz 2 mil and Ortiz turned it down.

WBA ordered a fight with Joshua. And at one point there was a deal on the table but Ortiz walked away from a rumored 5 mil.

Joe Joyce claims Ortiz turned down a fight. Ortiz refutes this but I have no reason to believe that Joyce is lying. I think his team reached out and Ortiz´s team wanted nothing to do with it.

IBF also offered an eliminator between Ortiz and Hrgovic. Ortiz turned it down due to a supposed injury.

So Ortiz actually has had a lot of big meals on the table, but somehow he has missed them all. And at some point he himself is to be held accountable. Now at 44 years of age, I bet he is looking back and regretting some of these decisions.

I think Ortiz was on the steroid cycle and didnt expect the Joshua fight to be available on short notice.

Dubois would back Wilder up, Wilder is like a deer in the headlights when forced on the back foot, plus Wilder is so chinny he wouldn't be able to cope with Dubois power.

Dubois wins over Hrgovic and Miller are better than the two best opponents Wilders best 2 opponents he has beaten his whole career. Dubois has maybe 10 years to add to more wins to this.

Im not sure about Coetzee being better than Jennings but that an interesting one.

Bruno probably had more power but Ortiz was the better boxer overall and I would pick Ortiz in a head to head match.

    Miller hahahahahahahah just stop

Knocking out Ortiz twice > Hrgovic.

I dont think Dubious beats prime Wilder too stiff and too mentally weak

Basically Dubious is too much like Frank Bruno to beat Wilder.

Ortiz most notable wins are an average Jennings and Martin after was dropped twice. Hrgovic edging Zhang in a close fight is far more impressive.

Zhang's better than anything Oritz has beat.

In fairness to Stiverne, he was old and sick, but acted like a champion and fought his mandatory in his very first defence (he also tried to make undisputed against Wlad).

So he acted like a champion should

Wilder...not so much. He cherry picked cans until the PBC shelves were bare.
