Jim Bob you're A waxing on semantics. And B completely missed the point. Im not comparing their career ledgers -nor did i try to- or their achievements as that would be stupid. What i was comparing is their CHINS and their physical attributes. Thompson started his career with a number of wins in minor British promotions. He looked the part and fought the part. Huge 300lbs guy built like a BB that tons of fans by into... Ala Arlovski...(spartan look hype bla bla)
AA's first fight was against a tin can in Datsik a fight that he was winning and then quick as a flash he was out staring up at the lights.
For me at least Thomspon started his career on a good note. AA started his by getting knocked out. And that has essentially been the theme for his entire career.

Ok and Thompson still never showed signs of taking a decent punch. Yeah he had a few fights in some small shows and the exact moment he stepped up he got knocked the **** out. Both have glass jaws but no way is Arlovski's worse I mean there was a few decent shots he took from Bigfoot and Tim in the 3rd fight and ive never even seen Thompson take a jab from a quality puncher.
