A Hatton fan but he's on the decline

Why exactly is he on the decline ? Because he doesnt shut his opponets out anymore ? Thats because he doesnt fight cream puffs and tomato cans like he did for his first 35 fights. Every Hatton fight vs a legit opponet hes struggled Mayweather took his head off,He needed a KD to be swipped away,low blows,elbows and hugging round after round in his home Country to beat a old and inactive Tszyu,got a serious gift vs Collazo and was on the verge of going down vs Lazcano yesterday until he got a minute break during round 10.

 

Looked fine to me vs Lazcano, that's how he always fights didn't notice anything different there.

 

he is still a very dangerous guy to most of them out there, however i think mayweather would beat him if they fought again!!!!!

 

I like hatton but he seems to get hurt now, Didn't anyone notice that in the 10th after he took that shot he was on his way down? When the ref saved him and sent him to his corner he wobbled and stumbled. He was on his way down...

 

Time for Hatton to fight the other title holders and unify.

After a defeat and a poor showing he needs to try to accomplish something.

 

Malignaggi Pac and Ortiz for me lol. Either way I'll be rooting for Hatton down the stretch of his career. I hope he never takes a fight above 147lbs ever again, Anyone up there will thrash him.

He's already the undisputed champion there after beating Tszyu so the belts won't give him a new name but still a good choice since he's staying there.

 

I don't think he has declined physically, but the Mayweather defeat shattered his confidence. He'll never defeat another elite opponent, unless it's someone such as Pacquiao coming up way too far in weight.

And with his lifestyle, he won't have much more time at the top. I'll miss him, though. At least he comes forward and forces the other guy to engage.

 

yeah I agree he's defenitily not taking punches as well as he used ti, especially the the body. He's far from a shop worn fighter though. And at 140 lbs he can take everyone's punches (with the possible acception of Torres, but IMO he whips Torres if they ever fight anyway) but he should never go up to 147 lb if he knows whats good for him.

Him versus pac would be a style match up I'd really like to see provided the size isn't too much for Pac. Seeing an undersized pac take a beating would be as enjoyable and interesting is well seening an undersaized Ricky Hatton take a beating.
