Regardless, the sucker punch was poor display of sportsmanship. Especially considering Floyd was beating his ass already, was it really necessary? I would have much rather watched Floyd beat the **** out of Ortiz for the next couple rounds than that. On top of that, now it's some controversial BS that could lead to another complete failure of a rematch.

 

Perhaps, VO got so frustrated for all the elbows and stuff that FM got away from with impunity (not only in this fight but with all others that involved May), thus leading to the bad headbutt, leading to the cowardly sucker punches??? That's why the Ref is there in the first place to enforce the rules and to take charge of the proceedings. Command responsibility.

If we go along with the TS ghetto mentality, we might just as well turn boxing into a street fight. Boxing was essentially invented to give expression to the violent animalistic tendencies in humans in a controlled, rules-governed environment.
