daniel jacobs - got knocked out by an unbeaten knockout artist
BJ Flores - lost a close decision away from home against one of the more underrated boxers today
allan green - lost to Andre Ward and Glen Johnson.. ok and is a bit of a twat
Chris arreolla - put up a hell of an effort against Vitali last year and lost a closeish decision against Adamek
    anthony peterson -
eddie chambers:-( - what's the shake for? eddie got stopped by a much bigger Wladimir Klitschko
Chad Dawson - lost another close decision to Pascal away from home
kelly pavlik - schooled by hopkins but compared to pwill last night, actually did ok against sergio
Paul Williams - lost to one of the top boxers in the world in a rematch after fight of the year
devon alexander- got a decision against Kotelnik maybe fortunately but is still unbeaten.. hardly exposed
mike jones- wasn't at his best against a tough mexican
Andre dirrell- completely 'exposed' arthur abraham's boxing skill earlier this year if you like and was punched when down

Hardly any of these were actually 'exposed' as you put it and plenty have big futures still ahead. Some of these haven't even got a loss on their record and none have more than 2. This is an awful thread and is the wrong way of looking at boxing, unless you're happy with everyone just protecting their records ALL of the time?

When was Green ever touted as being the next big thing? He has lost 2 fights in which he was the clear underdog.

dirrells heart and honesty was exposed its obvious now more then ever he overacted his way so that abraham could get DQd only a ****ing idiot would believe his tremors were genuine, if he actually finished the fight i'd give him his props.
listen i'm not a layman when it comes to these things i'm a med student and the symptoms dirrell showed are not symptomatic for a genuine knock out blow, when an individual looses temporary consciousness as soon as they awaken there in a state of shock, dirrell was playing up to the cameras big time, you dont get ko'd then get back up from it and have that much energy. He was walking around the ****ing ring seconds after his legs were twitching how ****in obvious is it that the man was putting on an act
you really think those tremors dirrell was showing were real ffs, he didnt even need oxygen therapy and the son of a ***** walked out of the ring unassisted if you think it was real you should stick to watching WWF

Well Green was deemed good enough to enter the super six, the absolute elite of the weight class, without proving himself against any top notch opposition. He got this opportunity by being championed by American press (and I think having the same promoter as Taylor), and a lot of posters in the general forum too.

To me being exposed/found out (which isnt a label I like) is an untested prospect, who receives a lot of hype from press and the public but crumbled when faced real, quality opposition. The fact he has unfounded arrogance also contributes

I hardly think Chambers was "found out" against Wlad. He lost, just as everyone expected him too.

Green and Arreolla are **** poor, but we knew that aready. And doesn't a Hype job just mean a promoter is doing his job.

well like i hate saying it , because its the most said phrase in boxing, but styles make fights and just because you lose a fight doesnt mean that you've been exposed, sometimes some one just has your number, not every fighter can be the best fighter.. a loss shouldnt be the end, although a loss for protected fighters it may be the end, ie danny jacobs being sparked by pirog

It could be argued that it was actually AA that got exposed in that fight.
