    The problem I would have guessing this is that human history being what it is, almost the whole damn world fits into the "horrible acts" were done if we go back to witch burnings, various wars and massacres, genocides, political murders, torture, religious persecutions, slave trading, etc.

    Can you narrow it down a bit?
