...would be very interesting. Sure, Hopkins would deservedly be the favorite, but Jones was able to hang in there with the younger Calzaghe.

Personally, I would love to see these two legends mix it up again.

If Jones won I would want to see it, but **** Jones.

He's not worthy of being in the same ring with Hopkins anymore. Tonight surely proved that.

Hopkins is STILL an elite P4P talent; Jones doesn't even try to win anymore, and is nowhere near elite.

The rematch we need to see is Hopkins-Calzaghe II.

    I agree.

It'd be like sex with an ex.

I don't think it'd be interesting in the least. Compare the last 5 years of Hopkins' career to Jones'. I think you'll find that their actually not even comparable. This would be a waste of time for Hopkins.

Amazing, but true. That's how far Jones has fallen.

Actually, it's probably fairer to say that that's how awesome Hopkins still is--an elite talent, still, after all these years.

jones needs to retire he has clearly lost it the calzaghe fight was so disturbing to watch he was not even trying to put a game plan together he threw 5 jabs the whole fight and bounced from corner to corner allowing calzaghe to hit him , a hopkins fight would clearly hospitalize roy jones . id pay to see hopkins calzaghe 2 just due to the fact that it will be a fight

I think it would be close.

They would both fight at a slow pace and both would be grateful for this.

Could be interesting, Hops would give Jones the time and space to look good again.

I'd favour Bernard though, but not by much.

RJJ clearly showed he was a shot fighter tonight. He couldn't pull the trigger at all, laid on the ropes and just covered up to be a heavy bag, and sporadically threw looping punches.

All of these are clear signs of a fighter being shot. Look at Gatti-Gomez, Ali-Spinks, Holyfield-Ibragimov, Tyson-Mcbride, etc...and you will the patterns. RJJ has been shot since Johnson destroyed him.
