Chuck Wepner Vs Ali - he knocked him down, just couldn't finish him off.

    GTFOH.

One of the worst "knockdowns" ever.

As much of a kd as Duran's first round kd of Buchanan's...an off balance Buchanan went down from a right to his GLOVE,....Wepner stepped on Ali's feet as he landed a left to the body,....a knockdown nevertheless technically.

It looked like a slip to me with Wepner throwing a cheap ass sloppy looking body shot at the same time, as standing on Alis foot.

And then Ali got up and beat the **** out of the Bayone Bleeder.

Maybe Mosley to KO Mayweather. He hurt him but was too past prime to take advantage.

Wanted David Haye to knock out Klitschko, but in hindsight I'm glad he didn't. Haye as a heavyweight turned out to be a bust that was way way more talk than walk.

Yeah it was,...like I said, Wepner blundered onto Ali's feet and landed a right hand, no matter how hard it was or wasn't, more or less at the same time, and Ali went down. Ali was subject to the same rules of officiating as other fighters (he wasn't some kind of super-human exempt from the rules), as to what constitutes a kd, and the referee made the right call. Technically, it was a knockdown.

Shot Mosely over Mayweather is good shout. Would of ended the TBE nonsense and the sport could of moved on much sooner from Floyd. In the moment fights, I remember screaming for Holyfield to finish Bowe in their 3rd fight when Holy just couldn't pull trigger. Also remember screaming for Kevin Kelley to finish Hamed in round one.

Here' s one for the future, I want Paq, to KTFO Mayweather:smoke..

But As far as the old times go, I would have parted with money to see Hagler KO Leonard, and Duran to KO Hearns...

If Dempsey old and rusty in 1927, after finally catching up to Gene Tunney with a 7 punch fusillade that dropped Gene on his back ,remembered to go to a neutral corner, would Tunney without the 15=17 second long count been able to get off the canvas at 9 seconds been clearheaded enough to clear his head
and scoot out of danger thus avoiding being kod by Dempsey ?
Remember 6 or 7 extra seconds is a great amount of time for a groggy fighter...Heavyweight history would have been completely different if Dempsey won back his title that fateful night in 1927.

Your dream nearly came true, Dundee was going to stop the fight in Manila after the 14th, and Ali threatened Him or Dundee saw Futch blink first, and blew a sigh of relief when Eddie beat Dundee in quitting...
