A Klitschko/Haye fight would have already happened if Haye had not broken contract!

undisputed cruiser champ and heavyweight champ after 26 fights.

won one title in france and another in germany

two of his first three fights at heavyweight have held the championship three times between them

you dont like this guy? why bother with boxing? i think he probably loses to both brohers by the way.

isnt it common knowledge that the fight didnt happen because the tv company that all of hayes revenue was coming from went bust?

do you think that was just a coincidence?

i want haye to build up a legacy at heavyweight to give us a meaningfull fight for once in the division.

There isn't much to like about Haye.

He beat nobodies to win titles in the emptiest division in boxing. He had a total of 2 title fights at cruiser. He hardly reigned supreme there.

He beat the guy widely regarded as the worst heavyweight champ in history to take a meaningless joke of a title.

Just saying "undisputed champion" sounds so impressive.
Close analysis of Haye's achievements show just how unimpressive he has been.

you think his record is unimpressive?

you think he doged people at cruiserweight to move up to heavyweight?

how many undisputed defences should he have had after 21 fights?

so two belt holders in his first three fights at heavy is bad?

he has to fight a klit straightaway or he is 'unimpressive'?

Go look up the term "strawman".

Then have a little lie down, calm yourself, and we can continue if you want.

hmmm. i know what a strawman in. what is it your looking for in the heavyweight division though?

do you think it would be better without haye and it was doing just fine before?

What I want in the heavyweight division? Well, how about a rewind of a couple of decades? Failing that, how about the best fighting the best?

I'd like to see the WBA stop being a joke.

Right now it doesn't look like Haye has done anything for the division (unless he has managed to retire Ruiz). He has just joined the train wreck that is the WBA circlejerk.
I don't care which one of the WBA clowns wears that title, and it is meaningless to the heavyweight division. Who cares if it is Ruiz, Valuev, Haye, Chagaev, Meehan or even Holyfield?
While they are off playing "WBA merry-go-round" they have become irrelevant.
Every indication is that Haye is sticking to this merry-go-round and then retiring in a year or so.

So no, Haye hasn't improved anything. He has promised a lot, but so far has done exactly what myself and other doubters have predicted.

So basically, the fight would have happened, if it had happened. But, the fight did not happen, so the fight hasn't happened.

    Fantastic thread.

Vitali broke an 'implied contract' with Haye first, right? Too many implied contracts being broken in boxing these days :rofl:patsch

Your 'implied contract' soundbite is beginning to grate.

The is no such thing as an implied contract you-****ing-moron.

The two words are fundamentally conflicted.

when you can't handle the truth of the message, all you can do is try to kill the messenger.

Preach on brother Farmbox, preach ON! haye ducked getting Knocked Out by Wladimir and Vitali. haye is a manufactured fraud who will be protected with handpicked set ups like Barrett, Valuev, Ruiz, Meehan, Holyfield, DOnald, until the Klitshkos retire. Haye is a fraud. Solis would Knock him out too.
