A knockdown does not automatically mean a 10-8 score

Do you really want judges to have a more subjective influence on the scoring than they already do? Judges could say, well the guy got up and moved forward and was the aggressor so I scored it a 10-9 instead of 10-8. Or he wasn't hurt that bad so it was scored a 10-9. I like the score defaulting to a 10-8 and the dropped fighter needs to work his way back into the round.
Actually you are right, one could argue Fury did enough in th 12th to justify a 9-9 score. But usually the dropped fighter really needs to lay it on the other fighter after the KD.

Duane Ford? The Duane Ford who scored Pacquiao-Bradley I for Bradley 115-113, along with fellow genius Vegas judge CJ Ross?

You may dare say, but the judge who scored it 114-114 wouldn't.

    Agree

Wlad getting dropped by Joshua in round 6(?), then coming back to turn the tides immediately after the KD, that was a prime example
