Just out of curiosity........was thinking what ranks as achievement?.......and felt that quality of opponent in terms of winning against has to be one where we guage the very best of each period. Off the top of my head ive Chosen Lennox Lewis and Muhammed Ali- Lennox Lewis- 1. WPts12 E. Holyfield 1999 2. WTko6 V. Klitshcko 2003 3. WKor2 R. Ruddock 1992 4. WKor8 M. Tyson 2002 5. Wpts12 T.Tucker 1993 6. Wkor7 F. Bruno 1993 7. Wpts12 D. Tua 8. Wkor4 H. Rahman 2001 Muhammed Ali- 1. Wkor8 G.Foreman 1974 2. Wkor1 S. Liston 1965 3. Wkor6 S.Liston 1964 4. Wkor14 J. Frazier 1975 5. Wkor11 R. Lyle 1975 6. Wkor12 F. Patterson 1965 7. Wkor3 C. Williams 1966 8. Wpts12 K. Norton 1973
Getting the 8 best wins.....in terms of quality of opponent head to head. I mean you could say Ali win over L. Spinks to become 3 time champ was one of them but then we are basing it on quality of oponent head to head......so Leon is far down the ladder.
foreman once knocked out a horse with one punch!!! wtf has that gotta do with the thread I hear you say? well you ****in knock out a horse and then tell me
I don't know if you can measure greatness purely by the head to head record. I'd put Tyson's eight best (without much thought) as: 1 Tony Tucker (UD) 2 Pinklon Thomas (TKO 6) 3 Bonecrusher Smith (UD) 4 Razor Ruddock (TKO 7 & UD) 5 Michael Spinks (KO 1) 6 Trevor Berbick (TKO 2) 7 Frank Bruno (TKO 5 & TKO 3) 8 Tony Tubbs (TKO 2) But it was the way he disposed of most of those that marked him out more than the opponents themselves.
I heard duran knocked out a cow. seriously i heard it was a cow. he thought it told him to mooooooove. well anyway maybe that horse had a glass jaw.....hu knows
Definately bull****. I won't even go into the detail of why he couldn't knock out a horse, seeing as it's his manager it's obviously he's just trying to hype his fighter.
