Of course he isnt.Iv met Witter and his a very likeable "down to earth" quiet chap. His following in his home town is huge. You assert that im clutching at straws when it is Hatton that said he WONT fight him.Who gives a crap about a fanbase or how "nice" someone is? This is boxing! Make the fight! Hattons number 1 and his number 2.Whats wrong with the 1 facing the best available challenger?
I was happy that Floyd won. I predicted it and won money on it. I'm also a Floyd fan. I want the best fighter to win any fight and he was clearly better than Hatton. See - that's another thing American't can't comprehend. That you don't have to support someone just because they are the best. You can support a team or individual because they give their best no matter what the outcome is. No staying power, no heart, no humility in victory, no class in defeat. That sums you lot up.
Of course it is.BUT GUESS WHAT SHERLOCK HE SAYS HE WONT AND 6 YEARS LATER DESPIT PROMISING IT HE HASNT! So lets deal with the FACTS rather than what ifs and conjectureatsch
Considering at the time Hatton was beating up cans and making record defences of the WBU which is no better than the belt that holds up my waist id say Witter made the right call.He challenged Hatton 6 years ago as to who was the best in Britain.Hatton failed on his end of the bargain.I mean it makes perfect sense.Hatton is the best fighter in the world at 140 "alledgedly" but we dont even know if his the best in Britain because his avoided Witter for sooo dam long. Now thats clutching at straws.
clutching to straws is all that hatton fans have these days...........ever since pbf has sent them on the long ride down the drain
What does Hatton's next opponent have to do with who he fights next? You really can't figure that out???
Calm down there drex.....Don't get pulled in to a bitching contest by one American who doesn't represent the entire nation! Don't start throwing blanketed remarks about the US unless you want the same getting tossed right back at you. If you have some valitity to your comments then that's one thing...but you are speaking off emotion due to the jacked up and bogus comments from Unitas. "Staying Power" isn't an issue for Americans. We have very talented individuals that have longevitiy in all facets of American Life as do many other countries and its citizens. And there is nothing wrong with "Franchised Sport Teams"
