A Light Heavy That Doesn't Do Bad Against Tyson (Spinks Fight)

Ok ok, sorry but the topic of this post is Tyson from the Spinks fight. In which he was 100% much better than in the Tillis fight, which was probably his weakest major fight in the 1980s. It's a bit like asking which lightweight heavyweight would have defeated the best Ali, say, in the C. Williams fight, and someone will say, "If Doug Jones was that close, Bob Foster or Ezzard Charles could have done it because he was a much better lightweight heavyweight than Doug." But that's not a good answer. I think Spinks himself would have had no problem with Tyson from the Tillis fight, so I'd say Spinks, because honestly, I'd bet on him if he got the green Tyson.

 

The record clearly states I didn't revive this thread I made that post a year ago. Still stand by it.

I also specified duration champ Bivins. Who did not lose "1 out of every 5 times he entered the ropes".

 

And yet with even all the qualifiers it remains the most ludicrous and humorous sht I've read all day!

He was trained by Rooney and couldn’t put mediocrities like Green, Tillis and even Bonecrusher away. Tyson could be given trouble on a given night by guys not on his level (all boxers can be and Tyson is no different)
