Guerrero had 11,000 followers. He went up to about 400,000, fought Floyd and then twitter did a huge follower clampdown were loads of celebs got exposed and Guerrero is back down to 72,000.

Khan went down to 340,000 during said time and then issued a tweet saying "Twitter informed me that all my followers will be back in 48 hours" - the same time that the twitter buying website says it takes for all bought followers to hit your account.

Katy Perry lost like 8million followers. Brian Rose admitted somebody bought him followers and he lost 50,000 as well.

I don't follow Amir Khan, he blocked me a while back, mearly for saying in a conversation with a mate that I though Kell Brook would beat him. Khan was tagged in from a privios tweet in the conversation but wasnt involved.

It was nothing insuling / aggressive and no foul language was used. Seems a poor response to be honest.

Anyway no great loss off my timeline, as has been said above, he is more intrested in the lifestyle than the actual boxing. Probably why he has struggled in the ring the last few years.

It's quite amazing that Frampton isn't one of the most followed.. seeing as though hes world champion & the 2nd best fighter in the UK.

It's also crazy that Mcdonnell, Quigg and Butler have such little despite being world champions in the last year.

Things that seem to make boxers a higher profile in the UK

1 Race - mixed raced/black/ and asian fighters seem to have higher profiles and followers than their achievements and abilty warrant.

2 Nationality - way more likely to become a star in the UK if your english rather than scottish, welsh or irish.

    3. Promoter and Tv Channel - Being on Sky with Hearn obviously helps a lot, all other fighters on other channels mostly struggle for any kind of profile.

4 weight division - Heavyweights get way more exposure than any other weight class.

Frampton's not actually been on twitter that long, just over a year I think @RealCFrampton & he's on nearly 72,000

I used to follow @CarlFrampton but it seems that's just a fake, not tweeted in over a year. It's got over 10K followers

He's from Northern Ireland, all his fights are there and he fights on boxnation for the past year which is a real profile killer, that's why, also why stuart hall has 6k, paul butler has 11k but someone like brian Rose has 36k because rose fights on sky whereas the other two despite being former world champions fight on a channel that very few know about.

If frampton fights on BT/sky/channel 5/itv his following will massively go up, groves on the day of the first froch fight had 65k followers the next morning he had something like 180k. Also depends on how often they tweet, quigg doesn't seem to tweet as much as someone like bellew or paul smith

Quigg isn't but seeing as McDonnell had his belt taken off him due to boxing politics I'll give him a pass on this as he deserves to be called a world champ.

Just to let people know the user known as Big_Daddy is a troll account and he also has the following accounts too that he uses on here:

    Bigdaddy
    Pro Punter
    Solaris
    beachie17
    Your Out!

He spends morning, noon and night on the British Boxing Forum spewing out his Anti-Boxnation rubbish because he's a sad individual who has no life, no woman, no job and has basically blamed how **** his life is on Boxnation...strange i know.

He was once Retweeted by Eddie Hearn, which was the highlight of his pathetic life and is now Eddies little *****, sad thing is he doesn't even get paid for his shitty posts on here.

Copying and pasting the same post on multiple threads, isn't that spamming the forums?
