He is what Lara could do to get a GGG fight he says he wants on twitter. 1. Leave Al Haymon's stable 2. Move to HBO where GGG is contracted 3. Move up to Middleweight 4. Become a mandatory challenger for one of the belts GGG currently holds 5. Attempt to win one of the titles at Middleweight that GGG is targeting unifying. 6. Become a draw 7. Actually make some sort of contact to GGG's team to discuss a fight A list of things he's actually done: 1. Talked about GGG on twitter. So I guess that means GGG ducked him then. I'm about to call GGG out on here live on ESB in front of a global worldwide audience of millions. My call out on the internet is as legit as Lara's call out and that will make all you GGG haters claim he's ducking me. Here goes. COME ON GGG! LETS BE HAVING YOU! :noclue:noclue:noclue
Perhaps Lara needs to take a page from the book of Andre Ward. He needs to make contact with Golovkin and then when he expresses interest in fighting, offer a deal such as fighting in his hometown for a 99/1 split in favor of Lara. That way he will have true evidence that GGG is a coward.
Don't forget GGG needs to come to 154, with pillow gloves and a giant ring to fight Erislandy 'A-Side' Lara. :deal
I think these are the gloves that he would propose: http://mewanty.net/assets/giant-inflatable-boxing-gloves.jpg
Drained GGG would still shatter Lara's glass mandible with them. This is a man who was tasting canvas against shot journeyman Angulo and runs for his life to avoid being punched on it.
Lara should be lined up to fight the winner of Jacobs vs Quillin so he would be mandatory and could force GGG to fight him. Hell, he could probably do that by getting the WBA Interim off Eubank Jr. Fighting Jan Zavek at 154lbs isn't going to get him this GGG fight that some people think he wants
Yep. And two fights and he could pretty much become a mando for the IBF title and unlike the WBA they would likely strip GGG if he didn't fight him.
To get in line, Lara needs to beat a couple of top 10 MW. He also needs to accept the fight happening on HBO. However, Lara may have missed the opportunity to fight GGG. If everything works perfectly for Gennady and he gets to fight Cotto/Canelo and Lee/Sounders winners in the next two fights, he may be moving up.
Golovkin was prepared to fight Jarrod Fletcher off HBO to keep his WBA belt before the Geale fight got made. I get your point though. There's things Lara could do to force this fight, if he really wanted it and wasn't just talking on twitter. I don't know why so many people want to see Lara get hurt that bad though
They have the ready made excuse that Lara was a blown up welterweight who went life and death with Angulo.
