Boxers who garner attention from television networks due to their achievements are not hype jobs. Case in point, Naseem Hamed winning the WBO Featherweight title and subsequently sparking out Said Lawal in less than 30 seconds got the attention of Showtime who thought, "WOW! This guy is exciting! Let's show him!". Then after a year and a half of more title defences he beats Tom Johnson who was then considered the numero uno in that division, turning Hamed from a featherweight title holder to the featherweight champion. Then along come HBO who say to themselves, "Actually, this kid might have something here." So wulah, they pay him shitloads of money to fight on their network and he goes on to have another 4 years at the top of the featherweight division and the pound for pound lists. What happened 4 years later to Barrera does not turn Hamed into a hypejob. It just turned him into a fighter who lost a fight in 2001 after six years of exciting boxing. And that ladies and gentleman, is my two cents.
Another dumbass post. PBF is an ATG he's not hype job if that's the case 99% of the fighters of his era are hype jobs.:deal
He beat Raheem and was and still is a good contender,he will win a title someday, the last fight was great with Barrios
the raheem fight was a robbery in houston, were zahir was penalized for low blows that did not occur Rocky is another good example of a HYPE JOB!!!
