MW has an upswing brewing, yet lots of the guys mentioned in the OP are green and still a ways off from contending.

There are a lot of green guys no doubt, but the sheer amount of good prospects speaks well for the direction the division is going in, most likely quite a few of them will fall short, its a far cry better than Super Middleweight whose best prospects are Fielding, Feigenbutz, Hart, Dunn and Jackson.:patsch

except for ggg, martin murray would still beat everybody on the list and ggg handled him with ease.

gap between ggg and everybody else still very wide.

 Gimme a friggin break with Martin Murray, he lost every round against GGG, may have had a draw with a past it gimp Martinez (I had Sergio winning by a point) and draw with Sturm, and while I'm at it lost to Khomitsky who was robbed. Good chin doesn't equal great boxer.:deal

again everybody on that list is about murray's level and ggg handled murray with ease.

No many of them exceed it, Murray would lose to Lee, Saunders, Lemieux, Quillin, Khytrov, Murata, Korobov, Derevyanchenko and probably even Canelo.

I didn't mention him because he isn't a true representation of the division anymore, nor is Taylor or Mora or Soliman. Try being aware of the division beyond what you see on HBO and Showtime.

Ogogo isn't that bad, you're being too harsh BP.

He's absolutely terrible. Had it not been for BS at the Olympics he'd have been forgotten. The Olympic "success" has been followed by injury after injury. He'll make a good TV host but a horrible fight. Lacks power and far too injury prone.

Yeah the Khytrov win was a total robbery but he's still pretty decent, he can definitely be a Euro level fighter, hopefully he can work himself up a good record and then they can feed him to Ievgen.:hey

As far as power goes, it hasn't hurt Cuenca yet has it?
