    He's not the best Golovkin's faced but he has I think more to trouble Golovkin than his other opponents, I mean he AT LEAST has a puncher's chance, the other guys neither can outbox Golovkin or even hurt him so it's just a total massacre.

    This probably will be as well but there'll be more excitement in a way that there's at least some level of possibility that Golovkin will face some trouble.

    I'm not seeing it - at all.

    Murray gave Golovkin far more "problems" than Lemieux will muster.

    Most likely, but Murray had zero chance winning that fight unless some freak injury or something of the sort happened. Murray wasn't even fighting to win, he was fighting to survive and that's the only problem he gave Golovkin, he was able to avoid him for 11 rounds (or however long it was) and survive longer than anticipated.

    Lemmy at least has some sort of infinitesimal chance to land that hail marry :lol: Actually, that's one of the reasons why the Stevens fight was also one of the more exciting fights for me too, but yeah, in reality it is a mismatch.

    And you also have to factor in the fact that Lemieux hits like 10 times harder than Murray as well. And yes Murray landed a few shots GGG didn't allow him to land.

    I'm hoping on top on hope that it'll be a war but I have a feeling that this match will look almost identical to Matthysse Provodnikov with GGG never pressing the action and outboxing Daivd on the backfoot from start to KO.

    I remember Murray doing more than that for the first 3-4 rounds.

    In any case, I hope you're correct. Lemieux winning would certainly turn this forum on its head, and it would likely be the prelude to a Canelo-Lemieux trilogy.

    Good comparison, I think it'll be like that except Lemieux doesn't have the titanium chin to hold up to those shots that GGG will be landing. :lol:

    Although just like Provo hurt Matthysse late, Lemieux hits way harder than his counterpart in this comparison.
