You cannot explain Floyd Mayweather Jr. wanting random blood testing without first admitting that Floyd thinks Manny is on steroids. It is impossible.

There is no prior history of asking for random blood tests.
There is no prior history of questioning drug policy.
There is no petition to the NSAC for drug testing changes.
There is no previous accusations of drug abuse from his other opponents.

There are only videos of his dad and his uncle saying they think he is on steroids, and they want real doctors to catch him and find out what he is really on. That's it.

If you were about to fight a guy you thought might be on steroids, what would you do? Ask him to take drug tests?

So yes, obviously Floyd thinks Manny is on steroids.

The problem comes from producing evidence. There is none. So this is obviously paranoia and it's unnecessary.

Now is there a history of Manny asking for 10,000,000 a pound over? No.
Is there a history of Floyd coming in over an agreed weight? Yes.
That is the difference on that "ridiculous demand"
Do you really think if Floyd made weight last fight, Manny would put that clause in? No. He has a legit worry that Floyd will try to take a penalty for the weight advantage like he did against Marquez.

Sorry to ram logic down your throats, but you're going to have to face it eventually anyway, might as well do it before you get too emotionally invested.

And giving blood when you're dehydrating yourself to make a weight does probably adversly affect you. Not eating, having no water in your body, and then giving blood? Probably makes you weaker.

I'm actually impartial on this whole thing, but just pointing out a possible flaw in your post -
Wasn't there a penalty fee in place for both Oscar and Cotto should they come in over the weight limit against Manny? Do either of those two have a history of not making weight?

It's 100% true. The guy is accusing him of doing steroids. Whether it helps Manny legally, I'm not sure. But anyone with a brain can tell he is. If Manny tests negative then he can always say that he was doing it for the "good of sport". Bs.

I'm not a Mayweather supporter. But I do think that paying 10mil. for coming in at 148 pounds instead of 147 is ridiculous.

And giving blood before the fight would affect both guys equally, not just Pacquiao.

    Edit:
    Great point.

So prove me wrong, if I am wrong, I will admit it.
I have absolutely no problem believing floyd is doing this for the good of the sport if you can produce some evidence.

I don't want Manny to be right on this whole thing, it just happens to be that he is.
I want to think Floyd wouldn't be scared of a former flyweight champion, I want to think Floyd wants to fight the best, but right now that is the opposite of what it looks like.

It's only ridiculous if he doesn't make weight.
You are acting like Floyd deserves some little fine for not making weight. That is one of the hugest advantages you can have in a fight... not dehydrating yourself before it.... He just did it to Marquez and we all saw how unfair that was.

Against Oscar, he was a LW coming up to face a JMW trying to make WW. There was a real posibility a JMW may not make WW therefore to guarantee he does, the penalty fee was put in place.

The Cotto fight was a catchweight...if there was no penalty, then the catchweight would be kinda pointless...Cotto would just come in as he pleases.

Both had reasons behind them. Now apart from Snr's absolute baseless allegations...what reasons did Floyd have?

Also very clearly, the bloodtest will have an impact on Pac wether he broke the rules or not...psychologcially or physically because of the blood draining. The penalty will only be in effect if those guys did in fact break the rules, as in go over the limit. Theres the difference.

    Exactly.

Floyd will obviously make weight with a huge fine keeping him in check. Is it unfair to force him to make weight or something?
