Yes its preposterous, because the test that cant be beat will not be able to detect the illegal substance HGH. Then what was Floyds point? That is to create a distraction and annoy Pac enough to not want to take the fight.

But at least in Greece Floyds got a ton of supporters:lol:

no, zab requested it of Mosley... and they politely declined to do it, because 'mosley is not a cheater and doesn't deserve to be treated like one'

    Yeah, I give up.
You're not worth explaining this too.

You're like a hick in the midwest who thinks that Obama isn't a U.S. citizen.
"well fox news said he wasn't!!!"

As I said in my original post, I am impartial on the matter. I was merely pointing out what I felt may be inconsistencies with the logic put forward by the thread starter.

It was claimed that Manny has a penalty clause in place because of Floyd's previous disregard for the weight limit, whereas the Floyd's blood test request is based on speculation and distrust of his opponent. Therefore one is fair and one is not.

As I pointed out, both Oscar and Miguel also faced penalty fines if they did not make weight against Manny, despite no history of failing to make weight. You countered this point by saying that Oscar MAY not have made weight as he was dropping from JMW and Miguel MIGHT not respect the catch-weight, therefore the penalty was required. The two examples you provide to illustrate the necessity of these penalty clauses is ALSO one born out of speculation and distrust of the opponent, much like the blood test request.

The Mayweather camp, for whatever reason, speculate that Manny may use PEDs. They want random blood testing in the lead up to the fight the help prevent this. However, tests are already carried out by the governing body.

The Pacquiao camp, for whatever reason, speculated that Oscar and Miguel may/can not make the contracted weight. They wanted penalty clauses to help prevent this. However, if either fighter did not make weight then they would have breached their contract and Manny would not have to fight them, and would be rewarded compensation anyway.

I do agree with you that there is a difference in the fact the the weight penalty will only affect you if you cheat, whereas the blood test will be in place regardless cheating or not. Therefore, it would effect Manny in a way that the weight fine would not. However, I do not think that this is what the thread starter was getting at.

No, what's becoming painful is YOU making 1.000 threads over the past 2 weeks on how Mayweather is so wrong and Pacquiao so right.

If you don't want to know the truth, then you're not going to look for it. You already want to blame Manny and you want Floyd to be right, so you are only going to look at **** that makes you think that.

    It's called being in denial.

I think Floyd will win a UD vs Pacquiao, I accept that, even though I don't like it.

So you're saying Manny has a history of wanting boxers to make weight?

    At least he is consistent.

Why is it whenever people talk about Pac about the blood test, they always phrase it as if Manny totally declined the blood testing. Manny is offering more than the usual blood tests already. It is just the random blood testing that he is against for whatever reasons he might have. But any reasonable man would agree with me that Manny is not that dumb and stupid to even think of taking any PEDs in between his training these days especially that he is on watch. So why even bother pushing for the random testing as 100% Manny will not do it even id he'd taken them before.

There is no scientific evidence that giving blood required in a roids test weakens you. Psychologically or otherwise.

PAcquiao is from a superstitious developing country. Anything that is not perfect for a fight he lost he will blame. He blamed his gloves, his socks giving blood 2 days before the fight ect.

Do not believe that Pacquiao is making this statement out of any educated or rational position.

I'm a far bigger fan of Manny than Floyd yet I can still see he's in the wrong. There's no reason not to take the test. It's a very minor compromise for him.

Yet we still get people saying this is Mayweather's crazy way of ducking him?! WTF kind of a way to duck someone is asking for a blood test!?

Mayweather must be a seriously clever ****er if he knew Manny wouldn't be up for this test.

The only reason Manny has the support of the fans is because Mayweather is a massive twat and Manny's always been a decent guy. If it was the other way around everyone would still side with Manny. FACT.

So him saying it back in 05 when it happened, and saying it again now, was all some elaborate set up to make sure he never had to be drug tested because he knew he was going to take steroids and move up to 147 to fight floyd mayweather?

How ****ing brilliant, give the guy a goddamn medal.
