Is anyone even excited? I think the Mosley Mayweather stuff is trumping the Pac Clottey news. I can easily see this PPV being a last minute order, instead of a 'can't wait to see it' type thing. Yesterday my buddy asked me "when's the fight again" and I had to ask him which one, he didn't even remember pacquiao was fighting next weekend.
Yeah this fights been eclipsed by Mayweather V Mosley, I would not miss it for the world though. But many casual and non-boxing fans have no idea who Clottey is.
Any fight with Pacquiao is genuienly a thrill, it's got a bona-fide ATG fighter alive and well and boxing in it. That doesn't happen all that often. I except a rather disturbing one-sided beating, i'll admit, but I still can't wait. And I really like both these guys.
Meh. It should be a good scrap. But not worth my $55 dollars. :bart I'll catch it the following week.:-((
That's the thing right there. I have been following boxing far too long now to know get all worked up over fights I predict to be ONE-SIDED beatings. They just don't intrigue me as much. I like fights where both fighters are very game. It gives me the butterfly effect feeling only boxing can give me.
Did he really say that? I'm sure he's bullshitting. What, does he think he'll be able to compete with Manny's speed if he stays light?
ill watch it n te uk for free on skysports i wouldt pay for the pleasure though , only downside is i have to stay up untill the small hours of sunday morning to watch it
I think it'll be a fun fight to watch too. I love huge crowds, they add a whole nother level of excitement. I just don't see too many casual people paying to see this.
It's free over here so I'll stay up to watch it. Believe it or not I was looking forward to the Mosley vs Berto fight more than this one just before it was cancelled.
