Did i want this fight to happen?....No. Will i watch the fight? YES. Do us boxing fans ever get the fights we want? you just have to look at the whole Pac-Man/Mayweather situation.

But to put this in perspective look at the last couple of K-bro fights: sosnowski, Chambers, some other fat useless american and now Briggs and Peters... We all know Harrison doesnt deserve a title shot but lesser fighters have gotten a shot and he does have the euro belt which usually leads to a title fight. Lets face it, it will be a huge event and we may even get a decent undercard, well Groves at least.

But most of all its a chance to rid the boxing world of Harrison!

Chambers and Chagaev **** all over Harrison as an opponent. Arreola is better. I hate Peters, but he is miles better a test.

Haye couldnt fight Aerrola (as hes lost to Vitali and Adamek), Chageav cant fight outside of Germany because he has hepatitis B, I agree Peters is a better test but is fighting Wlad.

The best we coulda hoped for was Adamek. Am i forgetting anyone?

Its a **** fight, theres no point trying to spin it otherwise, we all know who's gonna win and we all know its only happening so David gets an easy pay day. It happens all the time but unfortunately thats boxing at times.

It wouldnt be so much of a problem if he was coming off a win against Wlad, but Ruiz, Harrison then no doubt another long break is pretty ****.

While what you say is 100% true I cannot think of a single reason why anyone would fight Chagaev, the risk to your health simply isn't worth any amount of money. I can't even see Holyfield fighting him.

I'm not defending this fight I'm just saying its not the worst heavyweight fight in history! I think Haye is only gonna want 1 or 2 fights after this, so its gotta be one of the K-bros

Why does it have to :huh Next will be Chagaev so he isnt stripped, if 50-50 wasnt good enough for the princess then its not going to happen.

Harrison is not the European champion, he vacated, Dimitrenko won the vacant title last month.
