I'm a Donaire fan. I want his next opponent to be Rigo.

But if you think that Rigo fans on ESB have only indicated they want him to prove his skill and nothing else, you need to take your blinders off. They have said some of the dumbest things I've ever read on this site.

Props to Rigo for taking the fight with all the issues leading up to the week or two before the fight.

I'm a Rigo fan and I would like to see him fight someone in the top 10 again. It doesn't have to be Donaire, I just think that fight is the easiest to make, promotion-wise, and Rigo would have a good shot at winning, thus becoming the best fighter in the division, which we (Rigo fans) think he could be.

Rigo-Donaire would just be a great fight for the fans, too. RING champ versus the #1 guy. Who doesn't want to see this?

    That's just me anyway.

Ndlovu was #5, and he still is #6 or 7 after the Mathebula loss (which I hear was controversial, like their first).

    Idiot.

Went to Ireland to beat Dunne. Went to Japan to lose to Lee. One other time as well I'm quite sure. You don't think he would take a career high purse and US exposure to come and fight outside of Thailand?

And NO, I don't need to boxrec that **** to find out, I just actually follow the lower divisions more than the heavier ones and Poonsawat has been the goods here for a long while.

But I thought his amateur pedigree makes up for the lack of fights?

Plus, who cares about number of fights. He is 2+ years older than Donaire.

What time they get up in the morning and who they spar determines their greatness or adds to their resume. Nonito is being protected by his promoter which is why he has beaten the best fighter at the time at 112, 118, and 122.

Please stop now. We don't need more ****, clueless posters in here.

I just want to see Donaire matched with more than a live body. He has yet to be matched with any opponent that is still serviceable at the top level. Rigondeaux has the skill to be considered a huge step up for Donaire. I never said Rigondeaux was great. As long as Donaire is fighting stiffs, and old men, he needs to fight Rigondeaux.

Just responding to the idiotic notion pushed by the TS that Donaire shouldn't fight Rigondeaux because there's a chance Rigondeaux might retire after that fight.

Darchinyan? King of flyweight and on RING P4P list.

Montiel? King of bantamweight and on RING P4P list.

Nishioka? May be old, but after fighting him, Rigo would 100% be a step down in competition. I can't understand how no one can possibly grasp this.

Mthalane? It didn't end well, but hey a TKO6 on cuts is a TKO6 on cuts.
Hernan Marquez? Brought him up a division, true, but look what Hernan went on to immediately accomplish.
WVII? A stiff? Maybe if you really don't like him. Old man? No.
Sidorenko? Old, past prime, sure. But far from a stiff.

I swear a lot of people on here were giving Nishioka a better than average chance of beating Donaire, and the majority thought he would at least give him a very tough fight. Hindsight is 20/20.

Nonito is not a big draw and he say that he want to unified, Rigondeaux have the other belt, if they show the fight in Miami we will fill the Arena like we did for Arguello, Casamayor and a couple of months ago for Barthelemy, Socarras, Gonzalez... but he is not taking the fight because the high risk not the low reward, he is getting pay no matter what and I wonder how much he will ask for accepting a fight with GR.
