Ok at least you gave to 6 to Castillo. I wish the compubox numbers were closer so the divide could make sense.
I don't remember a fight ever where a boxer landed triple the power shots and at a higher rate/total punches the same all without getting hurt or knocked down and losing by 4 rounds.

I guess we will never agree. Floyd got the win and schooled him in the rematch. ;)

I've seen the fight 7 times now, and Castillo didn't land very many clean punches. The rounds he did win, Floyd just let him swing and tried to defend himself. Floyd's jab was the best punch in the fight and Castillo couldn't get anything clean when he cornered him.

Coincidentally, the 2nd fight went the same way as the first and no one was giving JLC that fight(the warped compubox numbers are the main reason many saw the first fight as close. I watched it with the volume turned down because everyone in my house was asleep and I thought Floyd clearly won_

    My score card
    rnd: Floyd-Castillo
    1: 10-9
    2: 10-9
    3: 10-9
    4: 10-9
5: 10-9(close round, it becomes obvious that Floyd's shoulder was hurting, but he landed most of the (legal) punches while Castillo cut the ring off well)
    6: 9-10
    7: 9-10
    8: 9-9
9: 10-10(I watched it twice and don't know who to give it to. Floyd showed good defense and landed cleaner, but Castillo showed aggression and cut the ring off good)
    10: 8-10
    11: 10-9
12: 10-9 (Interesting round, Castillo landed more shots, but yet again, half of them are below the belt. I would have given it to him based off ring genralship, but Floyd stole the round in the last minute)
    115-112 Mayweather

Your right the majority might dislike Floyd, but they won't deny how great he is. Why then even post on this site? Cmon guy even deep down inside alot of pacfans, not *******s because there is a difference, had JMM winning the first 2 fights. I've seen both of Castillo's fights with Floyd without volume many times and had Castillo winning most of the times, but like I said a DRAW would of been more fair. IMO Floyd did sweep through the first 4 rounds, but the argument of him winning the 5 is complete BS. I have Castillo winning it by a punch or 2 landed and he did land a nice uppercut, but he wasn't as flashy or speedy as Floyd, but it was effective. Round 5 was too close to call, but no one dominated anyone after round 4.

if the ref calls a KD and the judges saw a low blow instead they still must count what was ruled by the third man in the ring. if the ref doesnt call the low shot or a low shot judges do not have the right to deduct points for that unless instructed....

They won't deduct points, but they may not acknowledge the punches as clean effective punches

But as Eze asked if the ref rules a KD but the other three saw the shot low, the other three have to and must follow the refs ruling, there is a rule if you dont see it you cant call it, all refs must live by that though alot of them do not, example, Klitschko vs Haye, the ref had no right to rule a knock down cus he didnt see one..... But he did so anyways and there for it was ruled that however that ref should have taken a point for blatant flopping if you wanna call it that but he never should have ruled it a KD cus it wasnt...
Geno Rodriguez really should have been held responsible for that as it clearly violates the principles of the sport

    I know this.

What I said was, if the judges see punches go low, and the ref doesn't but to some people they look like clean body punches but aren't.

The refs should not factor that into the round for their scoring.

Let's say you and I are scoring a fight. Fighter A vs Fighter B. The round is basically a 10-9 for Fighter A and both you and I saw Fighter A land a nice a few body shots on Fighter B. We both give Fighter A the round.

That's the only thing that won Fighter A the round.

But if the judges see that all of those body shots were either low, or on the liver because they have different view than we do watching it on TV.

Then they SHOULD NOT take that into factoring scoring the round. Those punches were illegal.
