Martinez isn't even a HoF fighter....Floyd has beaten way better names than him.

and I hate how people say Floyd is too big for Pac. They are functionally the same damn size.

Martinez at Jr. Mid is an easier fight for Floyd than Pac is at Welter. As far as Floyd's place in history, Pac is a bigger trophy and that is what he should go for. Beat Pac if he can, and then take on Martinez. The reality is that Floyd has not wanted to take the chance with Pac until after the last Marquez fight, and now maybe it will happen. If not, Martinez is a great match up for him and less risky.

That must be why Floyd was quiet as hell while Pac was destroying the top WWs and the world was calling Floyd a coward. Makes perfect sense :patsch

    I disagree.

    1. he will make 50 million which is winning no matter what happens.

    2. If he beats Pacquaio he will have confirmed his place as the top boxer of this era.

    3. he will get the plaudits, even if not now, he will when the dust settles on their careers.

    4. He will have been part of the biggest fight since FOTC, something that will write him in history itself.

Both will be inducted in the IBHOF in their first ballot anyway so their is no speeding that up imo.

Dunno. Seems like pure win situation to me. Win or lose, he is gonna to make a lot of money.

I think that is why Floyd fights. Money.

Sure, give Mayweather a pass to duck the only ATG still close to his prime he encountered in his career and give him the mythical win already. That will surely make his legacy better than actually beating Pac.

This was taken from an article at B-talk. Brando didn't write it.
