A lot of fighters from 122-140 would beat prime Manny Pacquiao

When it comes to Pacquiao people really choose a lot of fighters of the past over Pac, some I agree with and some I disagree. Personally I think Pac still gets severely sold short on his overall abilities, especially as someone great as he is.

Guys like Napoles, Durán and Whitaker would surely beat Pac without a doubt. Bazooka Gomez would definitely beat the more raw version of Pac. Salvador Sanchez, Eusebio Pedroza, Willie Pep would also outclass Pac similar to JMM in their first fight.

I think Alexis Arguello, Julio Cesar Chavez, Henry Armstrong, Aaron Pryor, Azumah Nelson, Carlos Ortiz, Antonio Cervantes, Vicente Saldivar and Ruben Olivares are all 50/50 fights based on styles but they would have all been amazing fights to watch.

Other HOF fighters I personally favor Pac over would be Jeff Fenech, Barry McGuigan, Nicolino Locche, Ismael Laguna, Héctor Camacho, Flash Elorde, Sandy Saddler, Joe Brown, Buddy McGirt, Daniel Zaragoza, Naseem Hamed, Orlando Canizales, Kostya Tszyu, Danny Lopez, Edwin Rosario, Rafael Marquez, Diego Corrales, Arturo Gatti.

There’s loads of HOF fighters that Pac would have a great chance against in my opinion.

A peak Pac would beat peak Loma.

    And Tank would get demolished.

Pac beats the brakes off Tank, Shakur, Loma, Haney, Teo. At 122 Inoue beats up the young Pac at that weight.

Prime Pac is capable of beating anyone whether he could go through that list undefeated is another story but to suggest they all beat him is disrespectful to a great warrior.

Pac was a lot worse at 122 than 140. He'd have a case for beating anyone at 140 except Mayweather. At 122, there's a pretty long list of guys who would have a strong case for beating him.

I think Ray Leonard would have been too big and fast for Manny at 150, Benitez would have beaten him too.

I would have loved to have seen Valero get a crack at prime Pac, that would have been a war.

    Based on what?

    Nope what?

Teofimo Lopez better than JMM, Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Margarito, etc?

    Oh, maybe Stephen Fulton is?

Oh not him, maybe Ryan Garcia?

Pac haters are delusional…. Keep in mind on his come up he was hardly ever looked at as a heavy favorite, but usually outclassed or dominated his opposition, and the haters would have all their excuses ready after the fact….

He might not beat all of them, but he would fight them all.
