There is no UFC, but there are some great cards this weekend that are worth watching.

    SFL 7 (8:30AM PT) Friday

Live stream will be on their Youtube channel.

    Atif Khadim vs. Aadil Bashir
    Siddharth Varma vs. Farbod Irannejad
    Swapnil Barve vs. Hamza Kooheji
    Faizan Muazam vs. Deepak Singh
    Puja Kadian vs. Rania Bahi
Daniel Amar Singh vs. Michael Pereira
    Michael Page vs. Haitham Tantawy

This is a typical SFL 'Friday Fight Nights' card, in that it is full of unknown Indian fighters. Luckily, these fights are usually over pretty quickly, and often offer some decent finishes. The real attraction here is obviously Michael Page, who has yet to put on a less than spectacular performance. He will likely win in impressive fashion, and hopefully will never fight for SFL again, and move to Bellator where the competition is stiffer.

    Bellator LXXIX (3:00PM PT) Friday

Stream on the Spike and Bellator sites.

    Richard Hale vs. Thiago Santos
    Mike Richman vs. Shahbulat Shamhalaev
    Douglas Lima vs. Jacob Ortiz
    Ryan Ford vs. Kyle Baker
    Josh Appelt vs. Alexei Kudin
    Marcus Aurélio vs. Christ Franck
    Vitaly Minakov vs. Vladimir Starcencov
    Magomedrasul Khasbulaev vs. Josh Pulsifer
    Jonny Carson vs. Guillaume DeLorenzi

A pretty damn solid card, overall. Hopefully Thiago Santos' testicles have recovered since being axe kicked by Eric Prindle (who seems to really have it out for Thiago's groin area). Richman/Shamhalaev is certain to steal the show. Richman has looked like a beast since coming over to Bellator, with his methodical beatdown of Chris Horodecki, and quick head kick victory of Jeremy Spoon. Shamhalaev looked good in his debut, dominating Cody Bollinger with relentless GnP. They are both technical strikers, and I think that someone is going to sleep in this one.

Douglas Lima is on the card, fighting Jacob Ortiz (no, not the other Jacob Ortiz). Lima is one of the better prospects at WW, and is dangerous from all areas, though has shown some weakness against strong grinding wrestlers like Askren and Jesse Juarez. Marcus "Lelo" Aurélio (not to be mistaken for Marcus "Maximus" Aurélio) is another guy to look out for, with his crazy capoeira kicks, that you have surely seen on Youtube. His fight with Franck appears to be designed to showcase Aurélio's unorthodox, and very crowd pleasing style, so that fight is certainly worth keeping an eye on.

    RFA 4 (7:00PM PT) Friday

live on AXS TV (Formerly HDNET)

    Tyson Griffin vs. Efrain Escudaro
    Chidi Njokuani vs. Phil Dace
    Joe Yager vs. Marcio Cruz
    Fredson Paixao vs. Lance Palmer
    James Krause vs. Guilherme Trindade
    Derrick Burnded vs. Dakota Cochrane
    Sergio Pettis vs. Jimmy Jones
    Chris Holdsworth vs. Tyler Shinn
    Jordan Isordia vs. Joey Angelo
Steve Mocco vs. Tyler Perry (lol)
    Cory Galloway vs. Jerry Shapiro

A lot of familiar names on this card. A couple former UFC/TUF fighters looking to make their way back up to the big leagues, mixed with some young promising prospects. I'd say that the guys to really watch for are Sergio Pettis (brother of Anthony) and Chidi Njokuani (also the brother of Anthony). Both are exciting, dynamic strikers, just as their brothers are, and both are on the brink of stepping up to a bigger organization. Steve Mocco is another guy to keep your eye on, being a decorated collegiate wrestler. However, his fight is deep undercard, and I don't know if it will be shown, despite the star power brought by Tyler Perry.

    WSOF 1 (5:00PM PT) Saturday

    Live on NBC Sports Network
    Prelims being streamed on Sherdog

    Andrei Arlovski vs. Devin Cole
    Anthony Johnson vs. D.J. Linderman
    Miguel Torres vs. Marlon Moraes
    Gregor Gracie vs. Tyson Steele
    Tyrone Spong vs. Travis Bartlett
    Ronys Torres vs. Brian Cobb
    Gerald Harris vs. Josh Burkman
    Davis Branch vs. Dustin Jacoby
    Steve Carl vs. Ramico Blackmon
    Gesias Cavalcante vs. T.J. Obrien
    Waylon Lowe vs. Fabio Mello

I won't say much, as there is already a thread dedicated to this event. All I'll say is that it is a very strong first card for the organization, and every fight has at least one recognizable name. Should be a great card.

    Santos started the groin strikes!

Agreed, they will be fighting it out with Bellator for every C-level free agent around from now on I bet.

    Did Brenneman sign?

Well, that was fun while it lasted. Was hoping for a spectacular knockout, and you know we weren't too far away from seeing one.

Slick work from Page. No doubt he needs more seasoning in the cage before heading to the big leagues. I'm curious to see what his ground game looks like. He could be in for a world of hurt against a solid midcarder that can wade through his showboating and land a double leg.
