The guy is not the best in the World, we all know that and the chances of him being as good as his dad was always very unlikely, but the guy goes out there, goes in that ring, which a lot of men wouldn't do. It takes a lot of courage to do that, it's why I would never be harsh on a boxer just because he loses.

It's this kind of reaction after a boxer loses, why they don't want to take risks, because the abuse from so called boxing fans is disgraceful at times. The guy lost, **** happens in boxing, it's the way it goes. He quit, once again, **** happens in boxing. He won't be the first person to quit on the stool and he won't be the last. At the end of the day, he was getting beaten up in there and he could of got badly hurt on the night if he carried on.

He talks a lot of ****, but then most boxers are in denial etc when they lose, it's natural. At the end of the day no man wants to lose, but it happens to the best of us.

Hoefully he gets his head straight and does his best again. Of course he's not going to the best, he's not got the tools to be the best, like his dad had, but that's ok, you just got to be the best you can be.

Well done to Forfora, he did extremely well and hopefully good things for him. This is what's great about boxing, you just don't know what's going to happen, the only thing you know that's going to happen is so called boxing fans posting **** about the losers and then moan when boxers don't want to take risks.

he quit. he made his name beating guys twenty pounds smaller than him. sometimes losing, and winning on his name. he cried, whined, and pouted during the fight last night, he deserves every last bit of criticism he gets.

He deserves whatever negative discussion he gets more so than other massively hated fighters such as Victor Tree Ortiz.

Chavez has the family name and the promotional opportunities that came with that, he has failed drug tests before for both PED's and recreational, he admits to not caring about training, he has had highly questionable decisions throughout his career, he whines and moans and talks a lot of trash...

If everyone was consistent about what they don't like about fighters, I'm not sure there's a fighter out there more deserving of criticism, really. And I mean that.

And? So now it's bad for wanting to fight the best? I think every boxer should want to fight the best they can fight regardless of if they'll win or not.

He deserves to lose, ok, I get that, but it seems every time a boxer loses then here comes the boxing fans with their hatred.

Plus he was crying about a rematch when the fight was a shut out.

He got mauled and he needs to take his beating like a man, and shape up or give up the sport.

    :deal

He got every opportunity and basically cheated (caught for different types of drugs). It left a very sour taste in my mouth when he didn't give a urine sample and had some glove contraversy vs Andy Lee. I respect him for getting into the ring etc. but that doesn't mean he is above criticism when it is due.

Don't write him off yet, guys. I could still see him being a force to be reckoned with at 170.

He's lazy, that why he gets so much criticism. He was lucky to beat Vera the first time when he clearly didn't train properly and now he's too lazy to make 168lbs and got exposed at light heavy. Fact is why he may have a lot of heart in the ring having taken more than one beating he lacks discipline out of the ring. He's got the name, the following and money but he's squandered what little talent he's had through ill discipline.

That's good though isn't it? Takes a lot of courage to want a rematch against someone that just beat the sh!t out of you. I would like to think that if I was ever a pro that I would also have the courage to rematch after a loss.

Truth to the matter is boxing is a dangerous sport and if you don't put in 100% like Chavez just found out, then you get hurt. If Chavez doesn't put in 100% then he should retire. Simple as that. His dad should tell him that aswell.
