In a video, 8 out 10 fighters at Mayweather Boxing Gym picked Vargas to win. You might say they're biased, but leading up to Pacquiao-Bradley III, Pacquiao was the overwhelming favorite. Even Brooklyn tranny Paulie Malignaggi and Greatest Hater of Manny said that it's a good fight and that Vargas has a really good chance of winning. Mikey Garcia said it was a risky fight as did Robert. Worst Dad of the Century Antonio Tarver also said it was a tough fight.
hes a businessman he aint about this life no more hes a pure politician talking s--- that he will do this and he will do that but he never delivers he should have retired years ago hes just a spectacle now hes not even half he was once
Vargas can't box, let's put that out there, he struggles with boxing. For a guy with not so many KOs boxing should be his forte, but Lopez, Allakhverdiev, and Bradley showed us that if you move left and right and punch at the same time Vargas has no method for it. Manny "CHERRY PICKED" this fight because Vargas has a style that he has destroyed countless times before. Mann may be "old" but this is no challenge. The real question is will Manny destroy Vargas just to entice a Mayweather rematch? Remember that Mayweather told Manny and Arum that he need to get his belt back,WBO 147 , from Bradley and get a few wins before he would face him the first time. If it is a possible rematch who knows what the hell he told Manny to do this time. " Beat a guy bloody", " Get the belt back", ...
They tried for Danny Garcia and Adrien Broner, but both guys shamelessly ducker the fight. Danny has a belt and Broner is a big name. So they went with Vargas because he has the WBO, is Mexican, and will go to war. They would have fought Crawford, but Crawford sold 50K PPVs and stunk out the joint. This fight is in the pipeline, though.
I've said it was a good fight from the beginning. The fans dislike the fight and call it a mismatch, but boxing professionals are saying otherwise.
It's only a good fight if Pac has nothing left. And seeing as how he destroyed Algieri and Bradley, the latter being just 6 months ago, I think it's a bad fight. Bradley nearly shut him out.
