A lot of TMT fighters are unhappy with Floyd.

TMT has done well for Ishe, but even Ishe has been extremely inactive.

Its a bit disappointing how predictably TMT has unfolded. I was hoping that behind the facade Floyd puts up he had the brains to put together a powerful promotional force. But alas, his ego, vanity and certain mental shortcomings has kept TMT from fulfilling its potential.

My understanding is that he is not signed to any major promoter. Instead he is his own promoter (Devin Haney Promotions). However, he is mentored by the Mayweathers.

You also have to wonder if Floyd actually cared about TMT. How much time does Floyd spend behind the wheel of TMT?
I think Floyd left TMT largely to Ellerbe, who has failed.

How can Floyd be a good promoter when he can't even read? Go figure...

Their strategy was nothing more than a short term cash grab. Overpay fighters with other people's money, than take a managers cut off the inflated purse. The more they paid their fighters, the more they're paying themselves.

It stops working once you run out of other people's money, and that's when the inactivity kicks in.

You can’t promote without working with the other promoters. I think that’s the biggest issue with TMT.

Floyd doesn't seem too busy with promoting, he just travels the world.

They also don't have very many starfighters. Most of the fighters are not that good. With the exception of some of the welterweights

Mayweather Promotions got Ashley Theophane world title opportunity and he speaks highly of Floyd and Leonard Ellerbe. The job they have done for Badou Jack the Ripper and Gervonta Tank Davis is nothing short of outstanding. Floyd is shrewd enough to know that Tank can go through Lomachenko. Floyd cares about his fighters, he really cares about JLeon LOve and realizes he does not cut it at the highest level so why let him get hurt. Latondria Jones is not that good and she does not have star quality though Floyd is fond of her like a little sister. Not everyone who trains in the TMT gym is a TMT fighter or promoted by Mayweather Promotions. The Mayweather’s have played an active part in the development of Devin Haney since he was a kid but the kid is managed by his father and has his own promotional company. Floyd mentors a lot of fighters like Errol Spence Jr and athletes in general. As for Haymon Boxing , Leonard and Floyd paying fighters a lot more money than they would otherwise get all I can say is GOd continue to bless them.

I would rephrase it this way — which fighters are actually happy with their promoters nowadays? :)

True. But with as much potential money as there is in boxing (if you can cultivate or acquire a superstar or two), one would have to wonder -why- he wouldnt care.

Also, Tank, who is their biggest name as of right now, and their biggest potential, his beef is not with Ellerbe, but with Floyd himself. When TMT loses their biggest name, it will largely be down to Floyd.

floyd is just not smart, never has been, never will be. sure, hes made a few smart decisions in his life, who hasnt? but his business success was orchestrated by men who used floyds talent to make their own money, and they are no longer interested in ensuring his success because he can no longer makes them those big pay days. floyd is left with the poster boy for sycophantic yes men in ellerbe to steer this ship, and ellerbe cant see the icebergs with his face always in floyds crotch.
floyds name will keep diminishing as his chit personality keeps creating problems in his business relationships, and fighters who loved floyd the boxer will begin to talk negatively about floyd the promoter... and man. its already happening quite regularly.
