Floyd said this was going to be a pro vs a club fighter. he said ricky was one-dimentional fighter and thats exactly what happened.

all night, you could see the superior speed, reflexes, and timing. which is what you all expect, but you really saw mayweathers ring generalship, inside tricks

I think Ricky has been getting hit too much for so long, and when he stepped it up, even against collazo he struggled. against mayweather, he was getting cleanly hit all night long. there is only so much you can take

at the start, the straight up aggression got ricky by, but of course he couldnt maintain that pressure, and in the end, mayweather just came through.

mayweather shows he has heart on top of everything else.

I was starting to move mayweather down in the p4p table, but with a performance like that, hes firmly no1.

Do not expect too many coherent responses.

It was indeed a masterful performance. I thought Hatton could do it but I was wrong.

PBF is indeed a masterful boxer and that KO was just sublime I could watch that all day, even though at the time it hurt!

Good post I really thought Hatton could do it but Floyd showed that he has the whole package speed skill and heart.

Basically turned out to be a classic case of a good fighter against a great fighter.

Floyd put on a brilliant display and his performance didn't leave anything for the naysayers to latch on to.

This fight reminded me so much of Hopkins vs Trinidad. Same ****ing breakdown Same ****ing punches landed. Both got counter hooked in the late rounds. All heart but both got outclassed in the end.

Absolutely....Floyd revealed some more tricks in his bag tonite.I fact watching tonite...I wondered if he'd even be better if he let his hands go more.He was a bit more aggressive with his hands than usual tonite..I guess a pressure-cooker like Hatton will do that to a fighter. He realised early on that Hatton was not strong enough...andoutmuscled him in the mauls...Hatton must go back to 140.He's got no business here.Guys like Cotto,Margo etc will kill him.

Great fight tho'.Mayweather delivered tonite.Love him or hate him.

    Great fight.

PBF was all class. His speed and reflexes were far superior to Hatton. Defensively he's almost perfect. Most of the time what was happening was Hatton charging at him, Floyd hitting him with a straight right, grapple; repeat till fade.

Too fast and too accurate, Floyd should have stepped it up earlier he could have stopped it sooner.
