Put who'd win debate on the side and tell me what matchup do you think if happened, would've become a memorable fight that'll last for centuries or become an amazing fight in general?

For me, I always thought Prime Brewster and Peter would've been an extraordinary fight if happened during 2000/2010's

They're both tough sluggers with an amazing chin to withstand some of the hardest punches at their peak, Peter is physically superior while Brewster has better technique

I imagine the fight would go slow the first two rounds, than they start savagely wail on each other from R 3-6. R 7-8 would been rest round for both fighters before Peter start stepping up the gear at R 9 and Brewster ultimately finishes stronger at the last three rounds. I also imagine Brewster suffering at least 2 knockdowns within this fight and overall I feel like Peter would win in a close decision.

93 Tyson vs Bowe. That's the kind of fight that would've went right to the pocket with both of them refusing to get pushed back throwing nothing but bombs at each other. I think either one has enough power to drop the other, but I'd favor Tyson because he had better defense.

I thought the thread was about bouts that could have happened .... not that the OP said that. Historically, it has to be Robinson and Leonard at 147. I'm going with Sugar by decision. I also would have loved to have seen Tommy Hearns and Julian Jackson at 154 or 160. Both had sledgehammer punches and less than great whiskers. Not sure how long the fight would have lasted but I'd love to see the fight.

I won't use historical, I'll actually use fights that could've and should've been made

Mccallum vs: Leonard, Hearns, Benitez, Duran or Hagler. I think to be operating at the same time/era and not even getting one of them is a travesty of justice for him.

    Basilio v Palomino.
Two of the best chins in WW history, both spartan trainers, no running and hitting here, walk up, close quarter infighting is the order of the day, Basilio's left hook to the body, up against Palominos left hook to the chin, not sure who had the most will, prob go with Carmen only just, cant see anything other than a 15 rounder, cuts to Basilios craggy brows notwithstanding, what a fight this would have been, gun to my head, Carmen on points, wins despite numerous cuts, very brave show from Carlos, two of my favs, along with Napoles.
    stay safe guys.

The fight I most wanted to see but always knew I never would get to see it is Floyd Mayweather jr Vs Antonio Margarito. After Antonio legitimately beat Miguel Cotto into submission it was the fight the fans wanted everyone but Floyd & Oscar , who had previously stated he wanted the winner as his last fight to "Go out in a blaze of glory " lol Antonio scared both of them obviously because Oscar changed his mind & picked on little Pac man BAD MOVE lol !!! Ive no doubt we've all seen the videos of Antonio walking up to Floyd to ask him " "Why wont you fight me" ? The answer was obvious from Floyd's reaction s with his blabbering like Daffy Duck
& stuttering he looked literally terrified. I know in my heart Antonio would laugh at Floyds dancing & running walk straight through him beat him down & KO him. Someone asked Floyd later Why wont he fight Marg
he answered " Who is Margarito, I don't know him , never heard of him " Some wag at the back yelled
" But you just met him Floyd didn't you " ROFL
