Floyd called out Wright way before baldo. Yes, the Judah was in jeopardy at one point because JUDAH LOST TO BALDO!!! People wanted/want to see Floyd in meaningful fights. Floyd insisted on Judah even with the loss, the fans want to see Floyd in meaningful fights rather than matchups of his own choosing. Also, the baldo fight came close to not happening as Floyd wanted Spinks at 54 but then caved to public pressure and fought Baldo.

Almost fought Spinks instead of baldo:

    And then agreed to Baldo:

C "Proof" Money.......    :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

That's one of the biggest myths in boxing. Floyd didn't avoid Winky. There was a disagreement on the purse, happens all the time. Winky wanted equal share of the pot which Floyd didn't agree to.

    BULL****!!!

#1 floyd had no right to a higher %, and #2 they only changed their tune to that higher percentage, once Team wright was willing to sign the contract.

You dont call out a real champion, make a fuss, and then back out claiming you deserve more when YOU DONT!!!

    Just another PBF BS excuse/angle:good

Not only that, but you can't call it ducking regardless of how negotiations regarding money went. At the end of the day, Floyd wasn't even in Winky's weight class.... It takes balls for Mayweather to go after Wright, as Wright can dominate guys, especially a smaller one like Mayweather.... I would bet on Floyd if the fight came off, and I would love to see it if Winky could still make 154lbs.

Floyd didn't up his % of the purse. Winky did.:good

It's only right that Floyd gets the higher purse cut if he fought Winky. The fans may think he is a bore but the PPV numbers don't lie-- his lowest output at paid TV was 325,000 buys. It's safe to say that he is the attraction, not Wink. Plus, Floyd was, and is, generally regarded p4p #1 at that time he offered to fight Winky.

That doesn't answer the question. I don't care about Margarito.

Based on what? What was his resume like at 147lbs then, or even now? What about at 140lbs?

Do you have anything at all to support your claim? Anything. Other than post-dated interviews and threads from other forums?

    1. How is it beside the point? It was down to them, and he chose the other, who had actually fought at the weight class he wanted to fight.

    2. Again, based on what? He'd never fought at 147lbs.

Why would he fight a Lightweight in his first bout at 147lbs as opposed to someone who had been there before?

Please tell me you're trying to be funny too. Once again, I NEVER SAID THAT FLOYD DIDN'T CALL OUT WINKY. And what does Spinks have to do with all of this? Did I ever say that Floyd didn't try to make a fight with Spinks? No, I did not. I have no idea why you're posting proof of **** that I'm not disputing. I disputed that the claim that Floyd had no intention of wanting to fight Winky, and I disputed that Floyd called out Winky AFTER he fought Baldo.
