Mitchell had fought at Welterweight. Casamayor had not. What is difficult about this?

You do read, right??? It was Team mayweather that changed from 50/50 to 55/45, which is/was excuse out of the fight.

No ****ing way was Floyd the draw at the time. Winky had accomplished more at that point defeating SSM twice and Trinidad while Floyd beat Gatti??:rofl

Also?? Floyd wasnt #1 P4P then, it was B-Hop and Wright who were rated above PBF:good Hopkins had lost the first fight to Taylor just 6 days before the date of the article and Floyd hadnt done much at all to that point. He wasnt even the Champ at 140 for christs sake.

    Nice try, no luck:good

I just clarified the way **** went down. Earlier you had no knowledge of the Wright vs mayweather issue, so I just gave you the breakdown.

Be happy, it shows that Floyd called out Wright prior to Baldo, no???

Lets see is floyd guilty of Hattons business deals??

    NO!!!!

Yet two BS offers inside of 5 months and jumping to 47 WITHOUT becoming Champ at 140, IS WHAT FLOYDS GUILTY OF!!!!!!

Margarito?? Just the example of the shoe on the OTHER FOOT!!!

What it all shows is that Floyd talks/acts out of both sides of his face:good

No, it made more sense to UNIFY because he had from 98 when he beat G. Hernandez until 2002 when he moved up to 35 for good, to UNIFY.

Unified trumps linear, all day, every day, and especially in this case:good

PBF, Corrales, Casamayor, and Freitas all had belts in 1999. Yet over 2 years later floyd beats only one of the 3:hi:

I only just read that article about Winky and Floyd you posted. Here is the one I've read.

GL: How do you feel about the Mayweather fight not happening?

Winky Wright: "My people told me that Bob Arum came on the record telling you it was nothing but bull**** from Floyd. I think Bob said it best for once. I ain't have no interest in fighting Floyd. He's a good little fighter, but he go and calls me out and then he won't take 50-50 so that means he don't really want to fight. I don't care what he talks about the money he's been making, because if I beat him people are going to say that's what I was supposed to do. I mean, I don't care if they say that and I'm getting 50-50 because then I'm getting paid enough to deal with that. Anytime Floyd wants to fight the best all he has to do is act like it and we'll fight for 50-50.

I also don't recall Winky being above Floyd in the p4p consensus.

Ok, YOU didnt claim to have no knowledge, i suppose the "one of" was Bitchtime, but why you would refernce him at all is pointless.

Yet, to the "recieved little press":nono :nono :nono :nono

It was front page everywhere and huge news when Floyd called out Wink.

Even in that piece it states Winky wanted 50/50. i.e. "HE WONT TAKE 50/50".

Like i said, up to that point B-Hop was P4P #1 and rightfully so, Winky was largely considered #2 by many and wins over SSM Twice and Trinidad are what did it:yep

Floyd was fresh of gatti, wasnt the 140 champ, not a draw, and had no delusional right to anything more than 50/50. The article I posted indicates the last minute change in purse agreement. In you're article Wink says take 50/50 and ACT LIKE HE WANTS THE FIGHT.

I can think of many all-time great fighters who weren't hard hitters. Hitting hard isn't a necessary condition for being elite at all.

Money is obviously the issue here and you can't definitively say who ducked who. Floyd calls out Winky and they both disagree about the $.

It's not ducking. It's about not coming to terms.

I referenced Bigtime because in the previous post you claimed that Bigtime had no knowledge of the incident. I remember this incdident, it was not huge news. Regardless of whether or not we agree as to how big the story is, unless your a guy like Margarito who is in desparate need for some press, it would make no sense for a fighter to call out another fighter as a publicity stunt. Floyd had already built up a name for himself, calling out Winky just to get attention serves no real purpose. If it was just a stunt, negotiations would not have went as far as they did.

no winky had not accomplished more. floyd was a 3 division champ coming off a stunning victory over gatti. at the time floyd was considered p4p the best fighter on the planet, since as you mentioned b-hop had lost to taylor:rofl

lying **** how could b-hop be p4p #1 and he just lost to taylor:deal and wright was never ranked above floyd p4p wise.

well in your deluded mind winning 3 titles in three different weight classes isn't doing much, but the rest of the boxing establishment recognized floyd's achievements and his drawing power:deal

yep back to the drawing board for your broke ass:deal  :rofl

    where is the proof:p

yeah no draw but the ppv did over 350,00 buys. wright has never headlined any ppv so how could he have more drawing power:deal
