When faced with adversity for the first time in his career, Amir Khan flourished tonight. Actually, I retract that statement. Khan first faced adversity when he was knocked down against Breidis Prescott and Khan responded to the knockdown by getting knocked down again by Prescott and getting counted out. But anyways, when the cards are stacked against Khan, he responds. Against a 35 year old, blinded blown-up featherweight who in his last fight looked pretty bad against (1-7-1) Freudis Rojas, Khan made sure to take care of business. Word out of the Khan camp is that he's called out Erik Morales and Julio Cesar Chavez. Two more legends to add to his growing trophy case.
It was a good win, cut or not he was taking this. But he ain't ready for the top guys yet imo. Get him 4-5 more fights and into the top 10. That'll give us a clearer understanding of where he is.
Where you one of those that were sayin "MAB will KO Khan" before the fight? Khan won and made it look easy. Get over it
