1.) Why criticize him for boxing the way he did against Valuev? It is next to impossible to put on an exciting fight with him.

2.)Why criticize him for his mouth and attitude? He is one of the most entertaining personalities in Boxing and that is a good thing.
2a) If you do criticize him do it the same way you do Mayweather and watch him run his mouth to Boxing stardom and the bank.

    3) Why criticize him for becoming what is basically an overnight boxing star? He is what Boxing has been missing. Other than Pacquio and Mayweather I do not see any legitimate stars in boxing. David Haye having success means Boxing has success.

4)Why criticize him if he doesn't fight a Klitscho? David talks about Unification but K2 has tried to undercut him in the purse before so if they negotiate and K2 doesn't deal the way he wants because fact is he is the star of this Haye vs. Klits situation then he should fight Holyfield or Toney or anyone else who offers the big payday.

Bottom line is David Haye has the star power that Boxing especially Heayweight Boxing has been missing. Haye being in the spotlight is good for Boxing. Sorry Haters.

    1. Other fighters, heck even the 5000 year old mummy of Holyfield, put on a more exciting fight against Valuev.

    2. Loud - Yes. Entertaining - No.
2a. That's something he's yet to live up to..and by all means let him.

    3. He is criticized in the same way that other hyped up fighters are criticized for being more perception then reality. He's perceived as a start... good for him. Have a cookie.

    4. What a poorly worded run-on sentence. Doesn't fight or Didn't fight? What's your point exactly? He had little perceived worth before he beat Valuev so they were offering him a fair deal for what he brought to the table. Obviously now he is worth more, but you pay people on what they're worth at the time not what they think they might be worth down the line. By your logic Haye should give Ruiz 75% of the purse of their fight because Ruiz thinks he's an ATG(at any rate his resume is far more impressive then Haye's) and worth it the money.

Because he promised an exciting fight and that he would knock out Valuev. But he delivered no knockout, a boring fight and even a fight that could be given to Valuev.

Because he is a disrespectful arse without manners and yeah Mayweather is as bad as him if not worse.

Is he? I don´t think so. He also isn´t the saviour of the hw division, an atg or like Ali. Right now, he is just the former undisputed cw champ who holds a piece of the hw crown. If he is worthy of it he has to prove against the best of the division and no that means fighting a Klitschko.

Because he ran his mouth before how he would knock them out and that he is so much better than them. Don´t talk the talk if you are to afraid to walk the walk! Either he fights them or he nothing but a bigmouthed p*ssy.

No, he has not. Right now the only thing he has is a piece of the hw crown and a big mouth. Either he backs it up or he will be shut up.

If you wanna call me a hater because I´m not riding Haye´s **** than do so, I don´t have a problem with that.

I dont hate Haye but I think way too many people are jumping on his bandwagon right now and making him out tob be something he has not even earned yet. I'll give him the credit when it is due. The Valuev whin was nice if he beats Ruiz that would be good too. I dont think he is a god like alot of people do right now but I dont think he is a bum like alot of others.

Haye did what he had to do end of story...He went into Valuev's backyard and come home with the strap...:yep...Is there a problem with that...:think

Haye will smash John Ruiz in 5 Rounds...do the same to Wlad and have a similar kind of contest with Vitali like he did with Valuev...:yep He will do what he has to do and be victorius in doing so.

:happy...David Haye will clean up the Heavyweights...:happy

Anyone that hates David Haye for his trash talk is an idiot. Haye is all about bringing excitement to the division and has the balls to back it up. Who would go to France to fight Mormeck after the circus we saw against Bell?, the rematch with Bell was a robbery and a circus. Haye went there, hit the canvas, got up and knocked him out.

Who would talk smack so much to earn a major heavyweight title shot against the biggest heavyweight champion in history and fly all the way to Germany, where Valuev obviously has been getting endless robberies, to win the fight and hurt Valuev in the 12th?. With all the trash talk he started we all know he had a LOT of pressure on him and the location didn't make it easier, not to forget the options Don King had on him if he won.

When was the last time people were so excited about a heavyweight or possible heavyweight fights?, all of them obviously involve Haye.

#1 how did he "earn a title shot"?
#2 if the wba champ lives in germany, russia or wherever, its up to the challenger to fight him there, no props for someone fighting in someone elses backyard for a title shot they didnt earn
#3 the smack talk was good and fun until he ditched both fights with the klits for a year...then he smacked talked Valeuv for 4 months and ran like a girl...and big deal he hurt Valeuv in the 12th round...thats the object of the game when you try and hit someone in the head over a period of 36 minutes, props to him if he would at least tried to jump on him and really hurt him.....but he backed off....
#4 now he fights ruiz next....big yippie skippy doo....a fight no one wants to see....

1 I look at it this way> he earned the title shot
b/c the heavyweight division is soo weak.
It wouldn't have happened 10 years ago.
2 Yeah, he shouldn't get extra credit for going to germany,
half the crowd was british anyway.
3 Let's just wait and see, the fights will happen eventually if the klits and Haye keep winning.
Haye fought a smart fight why should he trade with someone that's much slower than him...
he performed well especially when many ppl thought he was going to get ko'd.
4 okay so you don't want to see that fight then don't,
instead watch Vitali or Wlad systematically breakdown the next mandatory.
Haye isn't playing it safe more than the klits you know.

Haye is a pretty decent hw with skills, no doubt in the top 10. However, too many people are making him out to be a dominating hw. Outgunning Monte Barrett and barely outpointing the worst paper title holder in recent HW history doesn't make him some monster like my boy to the left.

I see Haye as a guy grouped in with guys like Povetkin, Chambers, Chagaev, Arreola and a few others. Goods hws that can lose against any top 10 guy at anytime. He needs to separate himself from the pack before I consider him to be a legit threat to the Klitschkos. The way I see it, there is no established #3 hw right now....just a bunch of guys waiting to get knocked out by the brothers and get paid handsomely for it:bbb
