I kinda in 2 minds about a rematch with Joshua. While I wouldn't entirely rule out a Wladimir victory, I think that the likelihood is that the result will be the same and Wladimir could get put away a lot quicker and more conclusively.

    Great read.
He has an incredible attitude about the fight. Someone as war torn as him who is still thoughtful, articulate, and intelligent is really good to see.

    Thanks for posting this!

Wladimir has always been pure class. Very humble guy.

Interesting. He seems to have no awareness at all of how completely shot to **** he is.

Vlad did well, up on his toes in the 11th round, took the punches and could have come back, but the fight was stopped.............he did not complain though. I watched the fight live on Showtime, looked like a good stoppage, but when I watched the replay on HBO it looked differently, his eyes were good, he was ready to come back like in the 5th round................so I hope the rematch will happen, it's a 50/50 fight, we know both can hurt each other............I wish Vlad would fight Wilder next before the rematch, Vlad would knock Wilder out, but Wilder would never fight him, Vitali could come back and knock Wilder out, he could force the fight because he is Emeritis WBC..........................

With Fury nowhere to be seen and without a Boxing licence and after that performance against Joshua i still see Wlad as the 2nd best heavyweight on the scene.Hell he was 1 clean punch away from stopping AJ and the Fury performance was the worst one of his career, had he been as aggresive with Fury as he was against Joshua who knows how that fight would of gone. Wilder and Parker certainly dont beat him thats for sure.

Still want him to retire though. Done all there is to do he would just be ticking boxes that he has already ticked.

His wife is nuts. He should have gone with a quality domestic (Ukranian or Russian) instead. What he sees in that girl is beyond me.

Classy article by Wlad, its always good to look for the silver lining, not everything is going to turn out the way you want it too, **** happens, but when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. He did a more awesome job in defeat than most can come close to accomplishing in victory.

It was a great article that and I resonates strongly with it.

I'm one of the fans he talks about who appreciated him more in defeat than in victory.

Seeing him exchanging blows without his jab and grab routine, seeing him come so close to victory against his stylistic nightmare, increased my respect for him immeasurably.

I truly hope we see a rematch.
