    When asked who the best fighter ever was. Without hesitation, "Ricardo Lopez."

    He said Lopez is the most technically correct fighter we've seen on film and defended his title 26 times against all the styles against the best in his division.

    He said second best would be Joe Louis.

    His old trainer in Mexico showed he and his team-mates tapes of Lopez to study and copy - not Chavez, Sanchez, Barrera or Ali.

    Interesting.

    one of floyd mayweathers favourite fighters is ricardo lopez. floyd watched him train in vegas.

    Tapes of Ali would be a bad idea to show learning boxers. His defense was technically horrible.
