I think this would be a great fight. Action packed. Derevyanchenko has a fan friendly style and I believe these two would produce fireworks in the ring.

 

Thats not how it happened though. After HBO came out and said the purse for the fight was only 1m then neither Derevy nor Andrade were interested in that fight. Derevys team decided that waiting a couple weeks then enforcing his mandatory position would make him a lot more money. Now if you want to claim dropping the IBF to face Canelo is a duck of Derevy then you go right ahead, but thats a completely different argument.

 

No matter how many times you explain this, certain individuals here will never accept it.
