Why do you establish correlation between posts you find most stupid with posts you can offer least answer to?

You said he was hurt several times. I didn't see him hurt outside of the knockdowns.

Roy Jones for sure. James Toney too, but only if he’s not weight drained.

I'd suggest you rematch it again.

Having said that asking someone to "rewatch" a Hopkins fight is like asking them to drop acid in their eyes so it's up to you TBF.

It's kinda of: "well at his paper title was a real paper title".
    It hold´s some merit.

I think Hopkins' true reign began post Trinidad. So that would make it 6 defenses. Too bad he and the judges botched the Taylor fights.(Hopkins was too cautious)

if you got the IBF title, you are making defences, whats with the jealousy? itsnot a fake one.

Hopkins has what he has (well the NC shouldn't count though) and GGG has what he has. My only point was that neither man was the recognized MW World Champ (Lineal Champ) for all of their MW world title defenses.

When a person calls someone The World Champ... that means they are recognized as the world champ in that weight class. That doesn't always mean Lineal (there is no belt for that, not really) but it does mean that Ring magazine will consider them the World Champ.

I don't understand your whole argument. Even if Hopkins did have just 19 defenses of the title, he still has more than GGG.

GGG was never lineal, was never the true MW champ while Hopkins was, unless you count the ring belt he won after Canelo got suspended. If we're strictly counting world title defenses than Hopkins has more. The interim and regular WBA belt isn't a world title belt, it's a secondary belt like the IBO or WBC diamond or gold belt. Sturm was the long reigning true WBA champion since 07 until losing to Geale in 2012, then Geale was the unified/true WBA champ until being stripped at the beginning of 2013. GGG's first defense of a world title started during his fight with Gabe Rosado when he was the sole WBA champ.

I have the fight in my archives. I've watched it several times through the years. Feel free to time stamp the several times that Hopkins was hurt, outside of the knockdowns.

respect for 20 defences, no matter what the character.

    next monzon 14, hag 12, abe 11, 3G 9 and Sturm with 6.

But 3G may rewrite this table yet, trust me.

Well you should rewatch your "Malcolm X archives".....

But has GGG drawn or been dropped or hurt off a Mercado type fighter?

As I've stated before, Put Golovkin in that 100 plus degree arena at high altitude(higher altitude than Big Bear) and we'd see how Golovkin would do. Gennedy (I'll fight anyone from 154 to 168, but not really) Golovkin. Hopkins would have made Golovkin his *****.
