Has Golovkin ever drawn or beendropped or hurt off a Mercadotype fighter?

 

Has Golovkin ever fought in a 100 plus degree arena at high altitude?

 

Johnny Nelson has hit new lows, Tony bellew can outbox usyk lol.

 

But what is factual is Hopkins got his arse handed to him off a journeyman.....didn't he.

 

also, he defended successfully that night.
also factual is hopkins defended 20 times, 3G 8. hopkins won his full set of titles in the ring, 3G won one in ring.


Thats said I fully respect anything 3G did, 8 defences is great. he is a hero for Khazakkind.

His first fight? That guy may have been a journeyman, bum, club fighter, fringe contender? I'm not familiar with his first pro bout.

 

The arena was sweltering, and the altitude was high. Anyone who watched the actual fight, or read reports of the fight afterward would know that the conditions were challenging.

 

The Arena in Quito is about 2,600 feet higher than Big Bear, CA.

 

mybe it was hot, its possible, but the temperature in december there is usually in the low 20s.


I'm not however denying that the altitude makes it feel like you are "sweltering".

Most guys weren't **** after Hopkins beat them, so what's your point? Mercado was 18-2 coming in, with probably no drug testing. The fight was at a high altitude, and in a 100 degree arena. Someone who did that well against Hopkins, to turn around and get slaughtered a few months later by Hopkins, under normal conditions, with an actual athletic commission supervising the fight. Mercado may have been P.E.D.d to the gills that night in Quito.

 

Most of his defences weren't **** prior to facing him. Tito is the only stand out victory which is top tier.
