A moment to appreciate Bernard Hopkins record

Why does everyone bring up Hagler to defend Hopkins, or any other MW? Hagler fought his entire career at MW. Hagler is listed at 5’9”. Meanwhile, Hopkins at 6’1” began his career at CW and boiled himself down to MW, before eventually moving up through the ranks.

Could this a weight bully tactic on BHop’s part?
