Check this out, what I'm sure you all already know, by the way. I seen Naseem Hamad on YouTube and heard him say his retirement is by no means set in stone. That's paraphrased, mind you. Anyway, would anyone of you wanna see Naz come back? He's gained a bit of weight, to be gentle about it-but said he could come back as a lightweight. Watcha guyz think, and who should he fight when and if he does?:thumbsup

I think he should fight MAB for his comeback so Barrera could retire him one more time:p

Unless he fancies fighting the winner of Cotto vs Margarito I don't see him making a comeback.

    For the following reasons:

    1. Who would train him

    2. Who would want to actually know the guy

He says he could make lightweight but as a shortarse he would be hammered. He was at his peak at 122 - only moving up to 126 as there was a weak champion in Stevie Robinson. He would struggle to make 147 IMO, because he is nearly 200 I would say.

I see what your sayin', but sometimes these bafoons add a necassary spice to the sport, Dude. Think of how boring it would be sometimes if every fighter at every press conference was a gentleman and didn't lip off or occasionally shove or hit one or the other? Or picture everyone of those guys do some bland, nonboasting ring entrance everytime. Fighters like Naz are a necassary evil. Floyd is just a natural *******-he dosen't count. Mayorga and Vargas press conferences made for some great stuff, Chief. I can dig it, anyway.

Naz isn't ever coming back. He just throws out the odd comment now and again to keep his name in the papers.

    Please.

He wasted his comeback opportunities long ago. He's got his monumental ego crushed, got fat, and the only thing left are the memories of his brilliance and his pathetic attempts to keep his name in the same breath as active boxers.

The guy got mentally destroyed, lacked the humility and fortitude to resurrect his careeer and now plagues us with this nonsense.

Go away Naz and have the dignity to let your achievements speak for themselves.

Exactly,he can't make 135 for sure, not 140 not 147 maybe 154.In his last fight the one after Barrera he got booed by his own people,he won but looked terrible,it was then when his ego died.HE IS NEVER GONNA FIGHT AGAIN
